Advantages: Great picture quality, cheaper than others with same specs, 5 years warranty, amazing quality Disadvantages: I can't find any that is really a problem for me
...all in the link from Sony I posted before. I do not use all of them, but I tried the TV first with the normal SCART for about 4 weeks, before buying the '''HDMI''' cable… and I am hugely surprised too. With the SCART we thought the TV was awesome, now we have tried the HDMI, I am just speechless, the quality is so good I wonder why we didn’t buy the TV before. We have connected the Playstation and the laptop (also 1080p capable) through the HDMI ... ...years warranty. '''The Sony Centre''' had only the one on display at the time, and it was more expensive. '''Currys''' did not have it on stock and did not want to take any order or reserve, as they could not tell us if they were going to have any soon ( I personally believe they are having some kind of problem, because in that same week they closed two of the main stores in the city centre), they only offered us the TVs they had on stock, which ...

Advantages: Superby picture quality. Crystal clear HD, plenty of inputs Disadvantages: Pricey if you don't shop around
...Off I went to the Sony Centre, armed with my printout in the hope they would price match for me. Alas, the Sony Centre told me this other company were selling, in effect factory seconds and they would not match the price. Next on my list of companies was (the late) Empire Direct. I had more luck here and they agreed to match the price for me. I struck the deal there and then and was told my tv would take about 3 weeks to arrive. Of course, I was ... ...able to control all new Sony equipment (the tv, PSP and the Sony Blu Ray player with the one remote). The menu system is very intuitive and can be navigated with ease without much reading from the manual. A neat feature of this tv is the light sensor. If turned on, the brightness of the picture will dim in low light and get brigher in bright light. This is an attempt to reduce eye strain and first impressions are that it works quite well although ...

Advantages: Standard and HD images are exceptional + Trendy/modern + range of features Disadvantages: disgustingly high prices, particularly in department stores!
...- is a brand that Sony uses to market its high definition LCD televisions, in addition to projection televisions and projectors, and mobile phones in countries such as Japan. The original name was WEGA and some BRAVIA advertisements can still be found where the item in question carries the WEGA logo.
The name is actually an acronym for "Best Resolution Audio Visual Integrated Architecture".

... ...Believe it or not, Sony were actually one of the last companies to join the LCD revolution; at one time, they only had TWO LCD lines whilst attempting to produce their own flat-panel technology. This didn't work out, leaving it up to Samsung to bring them back up-to-date!
The Bravia range is now a world-wide success and have a "little more" than two series and models! ;)

...portrayal and solid connectivity, the Sony KDL40W4000Buy this for £885.00 at Dixons
Britain's leading HDTV retailer does show some areas of improvement over the outgoing W3000 series: calibrated black level is slightly deeper; standard-def scaling is better; and there's no longer any black/ near-black auto-dimming.
Unfortunately (perhaps as an inevitable consequence of cost-cutting) there are a couple of components which got worse: white balance ... ...this time of writing the Sony KDL40W4000Buy this for £885.00 at Dixons
Britain's leading HDTV retailer remains the best LCD HDTV - in terms of both picture and sound quality - we've reviewed in 2008. We haven't seen the latest Samsung 5 and 6 series nor Toshiba's ZF range of LCD TVs, but equalling (let alone surpassing) the stellar performance delivered by the Sony KDL40W4000 will be no easy feat.'' ...
