The sound quality of the speakers isn't fantastic, but good enough for normal viewing. For movies, however, it is advisable to use a seperate sound system. Sony's logic behind the speakers is likely to be that the majority of customers for this set will already have dedicated sound equipment.
Unfortunately, ... ...set if you listen closely, but this shouldn't affect viewing from normal seating distance or sound levels.
Overall, I feel this 1080p capable set can produce outstanding HD pictures, but the video processing slighty lets the overal package down. It is also quite expensive in comparison to other sets. ...
