...player, Panasonic VCR and a Sony Freeview box. The Freeview box is daisy chained to the DVD player so that I can take advantage of the RGB input (Note on most newer TVs these days you often get two RGB enabled scart sockets so you don't have to daisy chain). At the front of the TV there is a drop down panel which included further connections for s-vhs and composite video in. Additional buttons can also be found here to change channels and volume ... ...result I had to call Sony repairers to come and try to sort the problem out - generally they found the closest repairer to you and would come out at a few days notice. They intially tried to fix the problem with small magnets placed on the tube inside the TV and this would generally solve the problem temporarily. However, repeated magnet placing did not work and eventually the whole tube was replaced. Unfortunately the reparier tasked with doing ...

Advantages: Best Looking set, superb quality and features Disadvantages: None found yet
...has recently been launched by Sony (Nov 99 I think) and I bought one from a Sony Centre on New Years Eve. (And no I did not stay in to watch it cos I do have a life!!!)
I bought the whole home cinema system in one hit and therefore got a good reduction on the price. It retails at £1,699.00 but cos I bought so much kit I got it for about £1,550.00. The system I bought was basically the top of the range everything but I will review each one separately, ... ...TV, DVP735 DVD Player, STR-DB940 Amp and SAV-E705 Speakers - £3,000 for the lot)

Picture Quality - superb. It has got 100htz and 50 htz setting which apparently ...

After the TV was installed and delivered for free from John Lewis at what I consider a pretty good price of £1360 fully inclusive (price matched). I was very very pleased, the picture quality ... ...also very impressive.
At first the set seemed incredibly large, but after a day or two I got used to it.
I found the remote contol excellent, although I know some people do not like it. Having said that, I do find the IR (Infra red) is a bit weak, which results in slow response when pressing buttons.
This TV is a 100hz set which runs at both 50hz and 100hz, I prefer the 100hz as the picture is visably more stable and vibrant.
The sound is also ...
