Advantages: Fantasic all round - the flat screen makes an amazing difference! Disadvantages: ummmmmm.....
Wow
The Sony team have really done it this time. I set out looking for a large TV, eventually settling for the 32" Sony. It cost me a pretty penny at £1435 but I thought it was well worht it - especially when I got it home. Its hard to get used to a flat screen but now I wouldn't give it up, after a week or so it becomes second nature - and you notice just how bad ordinary screens are. I now refuse to watch my girlfriends TV as it doesnt seem right ... ...happy to cuddle up and watch it at my house instead :)). The TV is able to support modern features and mine came with a stand and surround sound (which I highly recommend in the right surroundings). The problem I originally had with the surround sound was that I set it up incorrectly. It is important to get the right speakers in the right place and as every room is different this can be tricky, but its well worth it in the end. I had a friend who ...

On the negative side, the SMART screen setting is not that smart, it only seems to get it right 50% of the time.

Advantages: Amazing contrast and colour Disadvantages: Price
I bought this TV after looking at many TVs,. I would recommend this TV for anyone who wants to get the best out of DVD's. The most shocking feature of this TV is that the screen is perfectly flat and has an amazingly vivid and colourful picture. The 100Hz processing dose not cause any artifacts or motion blur. It also has excellent sound but I would still recommend running it through a Hifi. A usfull feature of this TV is that it caches the pages ...

Advantages: Picture quality, flat screen, stylish Disadvantages: Pricey in the high street
I've only had this TV for a couple of weeks now but so far I'm well impressed. I'd heard very good things about it before buying but once I got it home I was blown away. My previous tele was a 29" 4:3 Panasonic so I was used to a big tele but it was the picture quality which was so impressive. Combined with a Sky Digibox the colours are really sharp and vibrant. The reason I've finally gone for a widescreen tele is that a lot of stuff is now being ... ...and Channel 4 programs) plus I've got a DVD player. There are also settings to cope with letterbox transmitions and 4:3 and 14:9. There are 3 Scart sockets on the back of the TV plus an S-Video and composite input on the front. These are very necessary these days. I have a digibox, video and DVD player to connect up. However soon I'll need another Scart for my PS2 (if I ever get one!) To sum up if you're after a widescreen TV you really can't go ...

...was only one choice, the sony was it. By far the best looking set, and the picture quality second to none. Attach a DVD player and the picture is fantastic. The set may not be cheap but the quality is certainly the best. But whatever you do don't buy from the high street, they wanted to charge me an extra £200 for a stand that I did'nt want. I bought a copy of Home Cinema and phone a few of the larger establishments, not only did they offer to sell ... ...and extra £200 off as well. I purchased my set from Sound and Vision (one of the larger ad's in the mag) They even delivered the next day, the highstreet (Currys, Comet) could'nt better that deal. I've had my set for nearly a year and the set is still one of the best on the market. ...

...paid 300 dollars for my Sony I paid 199. There are the same size but for
some reason my Sony has better picture and sound. Even though it is two years old and
cheaper it still works better. If anybody wants a good cheap TV buy a Sony 32” TV you
will be satisfied. If your not satisfied then do not buy a JVC. Don’t listen to me though it’s
just my opinion. ...

...name. We have many Sony appliances and knew them to be market leaders in the sound and visual departments offering high quality goods at usually reasonable prices.
Although during my first year of using this product we was more than happy with it's performance I am afraid to say that it deteriorated rapidly over the subsequent couple of years.
The first issue was a light green patch that appeared in the bottom-left hand corner of the viewing area. ... ...the tv to a local Sony authorised repair centre who informed us, after having it for about 2 months, that they couldn't diagnose the problem and their only suggestion was to repalce the whole "motherboard".
