Advantages: Its Sony- wonderful quality Disadvantages: Functionality sucks
Like almost all Sony consumer electronics, the Music Clip is superbly designed; its sleek, penlight shape really shines. But unlike almost all Sony consumer electronics, the Music Clip is let down in the functionality department.
For starters, files loaded into the Music Clip from one computer can't be transferred to another. And because of the recording industry's Secure Digital Music Initiative, most songs can't be uploaded to your Music Clip ... ...onto your computer from the Music Clip.
But the Music Clip is stil a slim digital music device: 64MB of flash memory, 5 hours (but really about 4)of audio playback on one AA battery and a USB port for easy (but fiddly) transfer
Well despite all my moaning its hard to see how good this is-great sound and feel- the world is not perfect and naturally most products arn't- but we can wish...

Advantages: Small, large memory Disadvantages: Batteries not rechargable
I was wanting to buy an mp3 for quite a long time now since they came out. I went through all the shops in the Uk finding just plain mp3`s which had also about 32megs of memory and were very large.
So I went to the US about a month ago. Walekd into an Electrical store to find some mp3`s, this one stood out immediately, it`s gorgeous.
It`s smaller than a pen and has 64mg of memory, it still uses the Open MG jukebox to convert the mp3`s but otherwise ...

Advantages: Small size Disadvantages: Limited display
I had wanted to get an mp3 player for some time, but I could never decide on the right one. Most were either too chunky or had very limited memory and all were expensive.
Then I saw an advert for the Memory Clip on Sony's website and I knew I had to have it. At 64Mb, the capacity is still not great but this is made up for many times over by it's sheer convenience. The MC is little bigger than a pen (maybe about the size of a cigar) and fits easily ... ...long time from a single AA battery and was supplied with easy to use software for filing and transfering mp3s.
To me, this is exactly what an mp3 player could be. The MC is not cheap, but is worth every penny (or rather cent as it is not on sale in the UK).
