    Advantages Advantages good value

Disadvantages Disadvantages poor build quality, Uncomfortable

I bought these headphones from amazon for a little over 60 pounds about a year ago. I chose them as they seemed good value for money and as they were sony i believed they would have a good build quality as thats what i've come to notice with all my sony buys throughout the years, i know this may not be the case for some but for me i've found sony products to always have a fairly high standard of build quality. Performance wise i found them to be very good as DJ headphones, the closed cups make easy to hear through them when in nightclubs and the sound quality is generally good. Although i find ... more

Advantages Advantages Great looks, classic design, strong build quality, amazing sound

Disadvantages Disadvantages A bit too big to use with portable devices

When I bought these headphones I first tried them out in my local Sony Centre and was simply amazed by the sound quality. I was used to the Sony MDR-EX71SLW in ear headphones which I used with my iPod Nano, and in comparison to those, the sound from the MDR-V 700DJ had much more depth and clarity. I was also impressed by the look of these headphones, the classic design still looks fresh even today. They felt comfortable to wear, and the materials felt strong and chunky, with an impressive feeling of high build quality. Needless to say, this first taste was enough to sell them to me, and I have ... more

Advantages Advantages Excellent sound, great effects, stylish design.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Wired (limit freedom, worm easily), exessive use is harmfull.

I accidentally bought these pairs of headphones. I was never disappointed. It's really true that entertaining listening demands serious headphones. This is case indeed. These pairs of headphones are designed for the DJ use. Superior sound blasting than premium and basic home equipment. It's 'Professional'. it has a contemporary theme, a unique folding design; coiled 10-foot cord and 1/4-inch adapter. (You can fold it in every way). These full-size earcup 'phones deliver excellent reproduction of today's popular music, entirely covering the ear getting you in the dazzling world of audios with ... more

    User recommends the product

Advantages Advantages Hard-wearing, good looking, multiple uses, comfortable, reasonable price

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None

I bought these headphones to monitor stereo recordings whilst adding in new parts. I was astonished by the clarity of the treble and the bass sounded very realistic. Overall the crystal clear audio and ability to transform them into DJ monitoring headphones make these a great pair of headphones that can be used for multiple purposes from home recording (as was my primary use) to live DJ'ing. I think the price is very reasonable for what you get and I would recommend this product to anybody looking for a reliable set of headphones that will last for years to come. Even considering the small ... more
