Advantages: Built to last forever, 10x optical zoom lens Disadvantages: Hard to see LCD display in sunlight
I bought my Mavica FD75 around 2 years ago after using, and being very impressed with, an older (FD71?) model at my workplace. Advantages: Easy to operate. Large choice of picture sizes. Simple transfer using floppy disc. Disadvantages: Large size. Delay while camera sets exposure settings.

I prefer to use the viewfinder rather than the LCD screen and this saves a lot of battery power. I usually get more than an hour of use from the ... ...off between shots.
My best quality pictures with this camera are indoor portraits with flash.
This camera is not best used for action photgraphy due to the delay in setting exposure values and taking the shot. It can be used for action shots with forward planning, but is better suited to still life. ...
