Advantages: 14 x Optical zoom lens Disadvantages: Still not up to 35 mm quality if printed
...months ago I purchased a Sony FD 91 digital camera.
Being keen on photography, I went for the model with the best quality optical lens I could afford (£900 + vat at the time).
It has the convenience of floppy disk storage which appealed as well. In practice, the quality is excellent for use on PC's but not up to photographic standards when printing.
The zoom lens is 14 x optical unlike some which quote a zoom lens part of which is digital.
At ... ...mm but onlyabout 3 inch long and unlike a 500mm lens, due to its electronics, it can produce sharp pictures in low light at full zoom hand held.
10 out of 10 for features and convenience. 10 out of 10 for web site use.

This is definatly an impressive camera from the second you take it out of the bag. Although It looks slightly bulky, this can be excused because it does have a very good feel to it, designed to make it easy to hold the camera and look through the 180k pixel LCD viewfinder at the same time.
Once switched on the image will apear on the viewfinder. At this point you are able to adjust colour levels, zoom up to 14x optical, or simply take your 1024 ... ...button. The 0.8 megapixel sensor guarantees high quality in your photos, and has so far not let me down! One small downside is that the images take a few seconds to save, not a big deal, but it means no you can't go snapping away! These photos are saved directly onto a Floppy disk that is loaded into the camera. This is a great medium for storing pics as it can easily be use din any PC or MAC. It also means that if you have unlimited disks, you can ...
