Review for Sony Walkman Having never really been a lover of ipod I decided it was time to jump ship and revert to using an MP3 player. I went on a mission to find a MP3 player my requirements were simple .I wanted to be able to use the player with a docking station, simple to add tracks to (eg no software program needed like I Tunes), also something that played video. This model is classed as having superior video & I would agree wholeheartedly the only thing is if you are a heavy video user this players 2 inch screen may not be enough for you. Cant fault the quality though its sharp QVGA
FM Radio I have tried the radio function the only thing I found is that it is difficult to pick up weaker stations even on the high sensitivity setting. This could well be dependant on where ...

I was looking for an MP3 player suitable for use whilst out running. Not wanting to become one of the IPOD generation, I looked at a number of alternatives. This got my attention because of its size (similar to that of a IPOD Nano) and the simple controls.
I like this device because it does exactly what I needed it to do. For me, it plays music at a decent volume with good clarity, perfect for drowning out the cheesy music getting played in your ... ...couple of the other features it boasts is the video capabillity and a form of automatic music cataloging. I found that whilst these are, in theory, great extras, I have not made use of them. I find the screen to be too small to watch video for any length of time and I prefer to make my own playlists. ...

Advantages: Compact, straight-forward, iplayer compatible Disadvantages: Screen is slightly small and not widescreen.
This media player is a great value compact player with oodles of memory for most podcast and mp3 needs. It's probably on the smaller side if you want to hold loads of video, but if you just want to hold a one off program then it does the job nicely. (8GB for the techies amoung you) I've had my player for the past 9 months and I love it. The player is iplayer compatible which is quite rare among media players. The player goes on for ages before it ... ...about once a week. "Performance" The sound is superb and works well into my hifi system at home and on my headphones at work. Cheaper products that I've tried seem to have a faint hiss in these circumstances and I've not noticed that with this player. The video quality is pretty good, with a 240 by 320 display. If you have a video at a higher resolution you have to convert it to a lower resolution before it'll work. The screen is at 4:3 so not ideal ...
