Advantages: Sound quality, price, ease of use the list goes on. Disadvantages: Sony Walkman's need to have a wider support of accessories, both Sony branded and also third party
...is my review on the Sony Walkman NWZ-S639. I have up until now been an iPod fan, but I feel that Apple is dominating the MP3 player market and I am a bit confused as to why for the following reasons: 1: The Sony Walkman has FAR superior sound than the iPod, now this isn’t just my opinion but many reviews on the internet point this out too, this is partly down to Sony supplying good quality earphones as standard and also Sony have different sound ... ...Nano, I instead purchased the Sony Walkman NWZ-S639, I paid £101 for the 16GB version. So I basically have double the storage, better supplied earphones (which are superb by the way), better sound quality and all this for less money than the Nano, it just goes to show that the iPod is too expensive. 2: Even with good quality earphones the iPod is far behind the Sony Walkman in terms of sound quality in my opinion. I know this because I purchased ...

Bought this recently after my MP3 player, which was getting on a bit, just decided enough was enough and it was time to keel over and die (or stop working; however you want to put it). == Look and design ==
It's very light, and very small, but still very easy to use, there's no squinting for the buttons or accidentally pressing two at once. And it's reasonably good looking, it's not a head turner, but as music players are for personal entertainment ... ...not a laughing stock, which it isn't, I'm fine with it.
== Function ==
It's remarkably easy to use, even those who aren't very tech savvy shouldn't have much of a problem using this; it even has an automatic playlist generator to make playlists for you. It has really good sound quality as well as picture quality. It can play MP3 (music files) and MP4 (video files). It has a pretty impressive memory; the specs claim 4,000 songs or 60h video, which, ...

Advantages: Sound, Design, Drag and Drop, Build Qualitry Disadvantages: Cant delete song or make playlist on the player itself
Previously owned Sony and Creative mp3 players as well as listening to friend's ipod and to me this is the best sounding mp3 out there. Suprisingly the supplied headphones are good, albeit a little flimsy (mine broke within 7months). The mp3 itself is well built with a metallic body, plastic surround. There are volume control buttons on the side as well as a hold switch. Small,but feels sturdy and has a good weight to it. Album art is displayed while ...

Advantages: Features was very excellent sound quality able to hold a lot of music files. Disadvantages: Charger Faults and malfunction with the USB after a while make this a no no.
...joy with the sound of Sony products but I have to say with a honest heart, I am not at all impressed with the durability of this product I have so far gone through 3 of the same MP4 model all having the same fault with charger plates on the bottom of the machine malfunctioning.
Don't get me wrong sound quality and features and even the amount of music this MP4 can hold are very good indeed.Still I have to bring it home, if the machine has no durability ... ...in my book perhaps Sony should be made aware of this as I have also had the pleasure of model using the NWZ-A series and that I have to say was built much stronger. Surprising greatly I would have thought the next model would have been even better all round including durability. ...
