Sony did offer a free upgrade to SonicStage, which may be better, but when I tried to remove OpenMG from my computer, there was some sort of corruption meaning that I now can not install the new version OR get completely rid of the old. With the breakdown of my previous Siny mini disc player I was faced with the increasingly common dilemma - should I buy a mini disc player or an MP3 player? Although the decision making process was a tough one I eventually opted for the minidisc. The reasons for this was that the units are often very easy to operate and robust as are the mini discs the option of LP4 (360 mins of music on a minidisc) for only 80p a disc it was too good to turn down. ...

It is able to transfer downloaded music quikcly onto a minidisk which is able to hold more than 3x the ammount of tracks a CD can.
