Advantages: Good looking, no UMD Disadvantages: Poor ergonomics, small screen, too expensive, flimsy
Whilst this relatively new console comes at an unnecessarily high price, I was still tempted to buy it. How foolish I was. This piece of junk is not worth the extra money. It's very uncomfortable to use although videos show otherwise. The ergonomics are just not right! After playing on it for half an hour, my hand began to ache and I just had to stop! The screen is also smaller than previous PSP models and often I was squinting at the screen to pickup ... ...this is the product for you! The only two advantages would be the fact that it has no UMD and that it looks better than other the other PSPs. But take it from me, this console is not worth the extra buck! You are better of getting the PSP 3000 which is just as good if not better! ...

Advantages: Smaller size, better graphics, upgrade of the psp3000 Disadvantages: Very fragile due to its design
...version with improved features. The sony psp go is more than just an upgrade of the psp 3000. It is the perfect handheld console as all of the faults on the psp 3000 have been fixed. The best thing about the psp go is that you can now see what is on the screen in a brightly lit room or in some sunlight. On previous versions it has been impossible to make out the images on the screen in a well lit room. Also, the actual image is much clearer and seems ... ...bluetooth. It has an ingenious slider design which makes it more comfortable to hold. However, this also makes it more fragile and it is more likely to break if dropped. It does not have a UMD drive as all of the games will load through the memory stick or the playstation store.
One problem still remains though - the analogue stick has to be replaced regularly as it will get stuck after a while and the new design makes it even more difficult to ...

Advantages: screen clarity, sound quality, loading times, features, microphone Disadvantages: analog stick very small, Box is Bare.
...considering the size aswell. Basically, sony really know how to make good looking hardware. Dissapointing though because, the box is very basic. When opened the psp box contains PSP, USB, Charger. Thats it. :S. But, the machine itself is different compared to other psp's not only in appereance. The grips on the back are suprisingly comfy and the shiny-ness of the GO is awsome. Its like Darth Vader's helmet. Like a silk PS3. Very impressed. BUY IT. ...

Advantages: Sleek, Lighter Disadvantages: Less for more, breaks easily, too expensive
The new psp go is not a good buy. At £225 it is not good value as you do not get anything like a umd drive, everything is downloaded which is frankly lots more expensive in the long run. Screen is size has not changed it is slightly more of a square now and offers the same graphics as the psp 1000 up. Really it is a step down as it does not offer alot of new features and the design of the sliding button panol is really fragile and one drop will smash ...
