Advantages: Easy to set up, easy to use Disadvantages: too many choices so ends up costing if you want everything
Excellent amplifier/digital reciever only problem is it has so many choices for set up, and the amount of features and channels you are really spoilt for choice.
Although I am a novice in the surround sound and stereo world I found this a delight to use as it seemed extremely easy to set up. It even automatically selects the speaker setup that you can have depending on the number of speakers you have attached (and where to place them in the room ... ...recievers I have had experiences with this is the easiest to use. 6.1 surround may seem a bit extravagant, but its an option and works perfectly well on 5.1 but if you want an extra treat get that 6th speaker( only works on a few DVDs but gives that little bit more 'in the film' feeling). Well worth a look when contemplating which reciever to get. ...
