...a top of the range Sony only Sony could provide a laptop that could come close. Just over two months ago I went on the search for what I needed and after hunting through various websites, electrical stores and specialist computer shops I came up with the Sony VAIO FE41Z, an amazingly powerful machine which I have found so far to be almost as capable as my desktop and believe me it has been put through its paces.
As I also work from home mostly online, ... ...quite badly, this new Sony however breezes through it as easy as any desktop I have used.
My Sony vaio has a 15.4 inch widescreen, perfectly big enough to give a clear view of what I am up to and also enough room to have a few windows opened on the screen at the same time. The screen is equally big enough to catch a movie on if I find the time or to simply watch clips I am loading to websites. Another of its attributes is the huge 200gb hard drive ...

Advantages: Very Quick Well built, Exceptional dispaly. Disadvantages: Battery life could be better
...I purchased for MY Sony from Comet for a small snippet under £1180, basically because a) they were offering free delivery, b) I didn't have the time to go a pick one up myself.
For all the Boffin's and Tech-Heads out there here first of all is the spec.

Intel Core-2 Duo T7200. ... ...a family and friends that Sony screens were considered to be the best available. Having seen it for myself, I can whole-heartedly agree. The clarity of picture is outstanding. Yesterday (whilst having a pose with my new toy) I used my laptop on the train. What was very impressive was that even sat by the window, the screen was still nice and bright.

Advantages: Quick, Sleek, Smart, Lightweight, Brilliant picture quality, Nice Size, Easy to Use Disadvantages: Fan
The new smart Sony VAIO offers you with a stilish solution to your everyday work life or just for a bit of a play with its portability. Firstly the size and shape of it make it easy to fit in to any laptop carrier case or bag and also its lightweight so there isnt much hassle with carrying it around which was a huge improvement from my past laptop the acer aspire 5670. Another outstanding feature is the dual core processor with windows vista makes ... ...exceptionally detailed and smooth. And also th 15" TFT monitor brings high quality detail to images, videos and games. The only concern is that the fan isn't the best of fans but it is not particularly bad just as long as it isn't covered up. All in all this laptop has a brilliant value for money quality and top of the range features, this laptop completely won me over so thats why i would give it 5 stars. ...

(+) cool and quite robust trackpad, good display,64-bit windows 7 (-) few connectors,dell drivers only, not realy for gameing (most models), finger print prone!
