Very very good laptop. No problems at all. Daily usage 8h. Like a desktop. 2gb of ram and the speed is very satisfying. Good for playing games too.

Advantages: Fast laptop for the specification
Disadvantages: Forever crashing

...it has been back to Sony in France for repairs 4 times. The first problem was the DVD drive decided it didn't want to work. So the laptop had to be sent back to Sony to have the drive replaced, even though they could have sent the drive in the post and we could have done it. Advantages: Powerful, Stylish, Ergonomic
Disadvantages: Heavy, Low Battery life.

This laptop has everything you need, even biometrics security system which scans your fingerprint. Also the usual ports, wifi, infra red etc. It's a bit on the large side though, not ideal for carting around due to it's weight. best for a desktop replacement for work or home. very stylish design, good clear and large 17" display that no doubt contributes to it's weight.
