Advantages: Reliable Disadvantages: short battery life, lid catch
Though my laptop is the K315M and i could not find to do the review It does not matter to me, as i am not in full knowledge what is in side my little friend.
All i want to say is that After having a previouse laptop that was suposed to be the Brill of computers, it was never out of the repair station that we sent it to. Out of the year my husband and i use it i had it on my lap 2 weeks.
In the agreement that returns can be exchanged if more than ... ...We looked at the other laptops.
The screen attracted us to this laptop and the style of the case.
Then reading the info of the hdd and the dvd etc it seemed better equipped than the previouse one.
As i am not into professional work then the hard drive space wasnt needed, the laptop was split for 2 drives on the DD.
Ready set and loaded with the software i was worried that as my husband has problem with memory that he would loose or format the ...

Advantages: Fully loaded for light user Disadvantages: Heavy by weight
A lower price laptop from top brand. It uses a celeron processor that is useful for a light user means for a user mainly use it for net surfing office work and playing and recording music movies.
Looks are excellent but its bit heavy but no problem if you are looking for an affordable machine.
The speed is moderate because it got a fast 2.93ghz processor with a lower bus speed any way its celeron.
Ram is quite high but memory speed is moderate ... ...feels comfortable and well designed. Apart from that machine is loaded with good features like firewire ports, usb 2.0 good for fast data tranfers using usb devices. Laptop is internet ready with eathernet and modem so you can straight way connect to broadband or dial up.
In conclusion i can say if you are looking for a machine that will do video editing and many other applications together then go for a pentium based computer. But if you are only ...

Advantages: Great range of software, Excellent for media Disadvantages: Heavy
...Then I came across the Sony Vaio range, the K315S, and immediately I was drawn to it. The quality of the on board speakers, the crispness of the 'X-black LCD' and the power of it, supporting a 3.06Ghz processor and a 'Mobility Radeon 9200 64mb'. This allows me to play some of todays demanding games such as 'Doom3', and has now become my favoured choice for watching Dvds. I found my Sony vaio to be excellent for my work, allowing me to connect my ... ...I could ask from my Sony Vaio, coming with Norton Antivirus and Adobe, as well as the support that Sony offers for the Vaio range is fantastic. It takes care of itself. The only problem I could find with it is the weight (and size), but size is needed for media use. Overall a fantastic peice of equipment. ...

Initially, we were pleased with this laptop. The display on the X-black screen looks great and the laptop performs speedily.
The battery life is poor but we don't mind that too much as we mostly use the laptop at home, so are happy to use the power supply. The laptop is quite bulky and heavy, but once again this isn't an issue for us using it from home.
Our main issue is that over time, a few things have started to go wrong and we have become very ... ...left mouse button became "loose" - it still works, but it's rather annoying as it rattles around! The next thing to happen was a white "dot" permanently appearing on the screen - I'm not sure of the technical jargon, but I think that maybe a "pixel" has gone! The latest thing to break is the power jack - the power cable just falls out - the power does work if you hold the cable in at the back of the laptop, but as you can imagine this isn't very ...
