Advantages: A really good computer, a media centre pc, so its perfect for anything Disadvantages: none
I have one of these and have connected a Topfield TF5800 PVR to it, so now it has freeview. I have also connected a VCR and a PS2 to it.
This makes the ultimate machine, it is really fast and has enough storage for anything. I personally install on the D drive instead of the C drive. With the DVD recorder it makes it the ultimate machine in editing as i have linked my video camera to it , with this i have made many dvd's with menus - by using Click ... ...sliding panel the ports can easily be accessed, the electronic devices which have scart sockets can be connected but with the three colour cables, red, yellow and white. These then fit into an adaptor, this allows you to record the videos onto your computor then write them to DVD. So all your recorded videos from tv can now become dvd's.
Hope this helps ...

Advantages: A good combination of a desktop pc if it's for a semi or professional user Disadvantages: Quite costly and not suitable for pc beginner or an amature
Firstly, i think the system is too costly and it's out of the usage area that a normal pc user should have. Like the hard disk storage of 250gb. If the space can be decreased to about 120 gb and the expenses saved used on changing the processor to a better one than run smoother like pentium 4 3.8 ghz. Besides, it can also changed to have a greater ram. With that, the problem of the pc slowing down will be solved. Some how rather, the programmes will ...

...push towards Media Center PCs, Sony decided early on that it wasn't going to jump onto the Microsoft bandwagon. Instead Sony developed its own media PC software to piggy back a standard installation of Windows XP. Now, I've seen many attempts at circumventing Windows XP Media Center Edition, with varying results, but without a doubt, the best proprietary media PC solution is Sony's.
I first encountered one of Sony's media PCs over a year ago when ... ...a 4:3 aspect ratio, but Sony has addressed this issue and this latest model - the VGC-V3M - now sports a 17in widescreen display, making it far more suitable for watching movies and TV.
The screen is probably the highlight of this machine. The X-Black coating makes the colours so vivid that they almost jump out at you. This is ideal for watching video, where the image produced looks bright and life like. Another step forward is the native resolution ...
