You get what you pay - With this, a hell of a stylish laptop with good spec and a fantastic all rounder! There were good and bad points with this laptop and it isn't one of the best I have ever owned. Look and design It's amazingly light weight and pretty small, which makes it good for computing on the move, while still managing a 15.4" screen. It's also pretty tough and scratch resistant. I think Sony describes this as having a 'bold design'. However, in my opinion, it's too bold. Ugly and try-hard is more how I'd describe it. I spent a long time deciding which laptop to get. Glad i got this one (misco £505). My old laptop was archaic which is poss. why i think this is just wonderful! Has web cam built in and loads more, would definitely recommend this. I am riddled with doubt over what colour of nickers to put on in the morning so you can imagine the dilema when it became apparent that my old laptop had one foot in the grave..... laptop bought in April 2008 for its ultra-light weight and long battery life. You can get 9 hours charge if you set up the battery to do so, but will lose performance and much of the 9 hours is if its not used very often i.e. sat idle. As a teacher it always has to be plugged in as i use it with the smartboard. No problems setting up wireless either at home or school. Super looking laptop and as always sony are the best. I got this laptop a while ago, and its great. i think that before buying it you should look at these points: Nice look and feel - but easily becomes dirty, and the wight yellows after a while. extreemly fast when pluged in, however when unpluged to keep its speed the battery drains quickly, usualy having only 1 hour of life. It is light, and thin which makes it easy to carry around.
