...I randomly came across the Sony Walkman NW-E003. The first thing I noticed about the player was how small and compact it was compared to the ipod. To give you a perfect idea of the size of the unit I would say it was slightly bigger than a cocktail sausage. The unit is an elegant pink colour with the LCD screen behind the plastic covering which helps protect the screen. ...20 albums worth on here. Sony reckon that if you use their ALTRAC format at 64kbps you can get up to 45 albums on here. I haven't used their format so I can't comment on the sound quality here. To transfer music onto this player you have to use Sony's Sonicstage software, you cannot just drag & drop your files from Windows Explorer. ...this ended it\'s life entirely Sony - Having contacted them to see about getting my NW-e003 fixed they informed me that there would be a one off charge for any fix of £75, not great when I only spent £57 on it in the first place Recommendation - based soley on the player I would recommend it, but on the basis of the repair charge I can not recommend it's durability - mine only lasted 3 weeks (though I now avoid tomato soup!) ...

Good Points: -Looks good. -Small, fits easily into crowded pockets. -Good battery life and very fast recharge. This MP3 player is excellent! I had this before i got a Zen and i prefer the one anyday. The design is compact, there are only a few buttons and the system is very easy to find your way around. You get a cd with it and this is extremely easy to download on to your computer. The great feature about this MP3 player is that you dont have the extra worry of losing the wires that you would need to put into your USB port you just remove the silver cap ...

Quick review on this pink one. Its the same like the other nwe00X series of walkmans. Minor cosmetic problems and scratches will occur if there are no protection on the actual unit itself. And one thing I noticed, If your using an upgraded headphones, It will shortened the playback hours of the walkman. And another one, I can't barely see the screen during the day if its against the light. Maybe because of the OLED screen. just my 2 cents. ...

Wow, after using this MP3 player for a quite a while, I have discovered it's almost flawless. For a standard MP3 player this is definetly above average. 1 GB is pretty mch enough, when will you listen to every single track in your library? As always, Sony has copme up with another versatile and stylish product. Bought just before going travelling, it was almost perfect! The size makes it very discreet so felt safe carrying it around everywhere. It holds hours of music and the battery life is good on it too.
