Advantages: Sound quality Disadvantages: The software
Over the years Sony have been knocking out great electronic gear. Games machines, stereos, T.Vs, mobile phones the list is endless. They're even a major player in the music business.
But even with this long line of distinguished history when it comes to the digital music player area they're just not good enough. It's not the way the player looks, I think they look modern, stylish and very sleek. There isn't a problem with the sound quality, the ... ...So now we have the Sony 2GB NW-E015. It's pretty similar to previous players. And you still have to use that dreadful SonicStage. You have to use it to add tracks to the player. You can't drag and drop tracks to it from your hard drive. I find this so annoying. Firing SonicStage takes way to long. After it's finally loaded it starts updating information about your player. When you do get around to adding tracks to it you have to wait around waiting ...

It's compact and easy to use but it won't play mp3s??????????? it will convert files to a format the player can read therefore you have to use sonic stage or some kind of file converter to put music on it. One of the main reasons i bought the player was because i thought it would be driverless and play mp3s. I can however access the drive without using sonic stage but what use is that if the mp3s won't play unless converted. It should be called an ATRAC or OMA player and it should not say on the back that it supports mp3 or WMA format because it simply does not! ...

My experience of this highly versatile Sony Walkman has been very thorough and enjoyable, it offers excellent battery lifetime in addition to incredible sound technology. Unfortunately the headphones that where provided with the walkman did not last very long, the design of the product makes it very nimble and its is very easy to use. I would reccomend this Sony MP3 player to anyone who enjoys excellent sound, its a star buy and will definetly keep your ears ringing. ...
