Advantages: Packed with extras, looks good and feels good. Disadvantages: See review for the very minor con`s.
Sony are one of the newest companies to venture into the world of DSLR`s, having been producing some quite excellent point and shoot cameras for many years this is a move that most people in the photography world had expected to happen a long time ago and a lot had feared the day it did happen too.
The reason many photographers feared Sony entering the DSLR market is simply that it would be hard not to get drawn into what they had to offer but ...

The Sony A350 is no exception. The picture quality is great, the controls are really easy with a lot of functions. It's really easy to for beginners and pros alike. It's great for makro shots and just as great for nice landscape photos. I have done great photography of forests and ...

Advantages: Live View, Tiltable LCD Screen, 14.2 megapixel Disadvantages: No Sony Memory Stick slot
The Sony Alpha 350 digital SLR camera is a fantastic addition to the Sony Alpha range.
The introduction of a LIve View system and tiltable LCD screen make it a really good camera for enthusiasts that are making the leap from digital compact or bridge cameras.
Before buying the Alpha 350 I used a Sony DSC F-717 and found shooting with the 350s automatic mode to be a doddle but it has plenty of features to keep the more experienced photographer ...

This was not my first DSLR but it is going to be hard to get me off this model. Superb picture quality and very easy setup for even the very basic of users. The size of the camera and weight mean that it is very easy for anyone to operate. I tried many other brands of DSLR before this one and I just couldn't hold them steady with one hand.
There is also a very good and simple range of optional extras that you can buy with this camera, lens (from ...

Advantages: Very easy to use. Disadvantages: Almost none.
I have had the chance to try this camera because a friend of mine bought it, and asked me for a day out, to snap countryside. Well, I have to admit this is a suberb camera, and immediately you may realize the definition is 14,2 MPx so you may print out and enlarge the photo how much you want, also until a A4 size format.
As my friend confirmed, the camera comes with a few interesting extra.
Controls are excellent and easy accessible to use, ...

Advantages: Picture Quality, Live view, Tilting Screen, Fast AF, ISO range Disadvantages: Small viewfinder, Slow processing, Availabilty of lenses
I have had my Sony a350 DSLR for just over 4 months now, opting for it over it's main rival, the canon 450d, and i don't regret my decision. The images it captures are fantastic, working well at low ISO settings. Image processing is a little bit on the slow side though when compared with the canon. The super steady shot also works well and as the battery life is the best on the market i have left it on since buying the camera. I would recommend buying ...
