A Wizard Squared = The Apocralypse
Review of Sourcery - Terry Pratchett by sandemp

Advantages: More than a little bit amusing | Re-readable to the nth degree
Disadvantages: Need to read several times to find all the jokes.

A giant turtle is slowly makes it's way across the expanse of space, and on his (or her) meteor pocked shell stand four rather large elephants, who in turn carry the flat, circular, and highly magical Discworld. Discworld is world of heroes, heroines, witches and wizards, where magic is a very real part of life and DEATH may just come to collect your soul in person (well in bones anyway). There's a very good reason why the wizards of Discworld ... Read review

The Discworld is coming to an end. Again
Review of Sourcery - Terry Pratchett by Yeo-Thomas

Advantages: Muy funny
Disadvantages: TP? Disadvantages?... ahahahaa :D

Sourcery - Terry Pratchett Going by the inside cover, Sourcery is apparently the fifth book in the Discworld Series. It once again chronicles the failed 'Wizzard' Rincewind. Those who have read the first two Rincewind books ("The Colour of Magic" and "The Light Fantastic") will know much about the cowardly wizzard and kinda know what to expect! For those who don't, here's a quick introduction. Rincewind is a wizard who can do no magic. In ... Read review

Sourcery is rife and the end is nigh...
Review of Sourcery - Terry Pratchett by eskimo_pie

Advantages:
Disadvantages:

I bought Sourcery, my first Discworld novel, on my holiday to The Isle of Man. I spent night after night in the hotel, sitting with my nose in the book, stopping only to turn a page or laugh uncontrollably at every other page, such is the nature of the book. In my opinion, Discworld books are well written, with a perfect combination of intellectual stimulation and wit. Sourcery follows the adventures of the outcast wizard Rincewind as he flees from ... Dangerous magic
Review of Sourcery - Terry Pratchett by brownp1

Advantages: hilarious
Disadvantages: none

...get normal magic squared - sourcery and the discworld has a problem handling it. The storey follows Rincewind, the inept wizzard, and the luggage as they again save the world with the aid of a sock and a half brick, and has interesting views on how a harem works. This is a hilarious book that I have now read several times and it only gets better as little details previously missed become apparant ... Read review
