Advantages: Stunning Graphics
Disadvantages: VERY short

...aware of the story of Spider-Man and did not watch the movie, Spider-Man is a story about a geek who turns into a super-hero called Peter Parker. The game is based around the movie, but with extra stories to make the game longer. You will face multiple additional enemies that were not featured in the movie, as I said this is because without them the game would be too short. The game is a single player adventure game, with 22 levels of both indoor ...
...Graphics The graphics of Spider-Man I must say are above average, but then again nothing too special either. Spider-Man himself looks highly detailed as you would expect, it is shame though the same cannot be said about most the enemies you encounter, as they only look and move averagely. The outside in particular looks very detailed; the skyscrapers look beautiful as they reflect the sunlight of their windows. When you look down you will see a ...

SPIDEY SPIDEY WONT YOU HAVE MY BABIES

Advantages: good action fantastic juices
Disadvantages: NO MONKEYS, what are you thinking

Well bugger me side ways with an X-box if I havent enjoyed my brief affair with spideys latest nintendo outing. It all starts on a rainy saturday afternoon, shortly after recieving my monthly credit card bill with a nice credit extension on it (I thank you) I decided to paint middlesbrough town centre red with a summer spending spree. My trip took me to shops of all descriptions but before going to the car I visited my local gamestation. Spying a ...
...swiftly picked it up and ran out of the shop laughing maniacally being chased by security guards. I climbed up mcdonalds wall and web swung to the car park and shot off up the road with my spidey mask on. Ok lies, I put it on my credit card. Slipping the tiny webbed disc into my gamecube brought out a nice little spidey style intro, complete with cgi Tobey Maguire and Willem Dafoe looking a bit kak really. Anyway onto the game, after a brief training ...

SpiderMan

Advantages: wicked visual effects and cool storyline
Disadvantages: crowded theatres

...a science fiction buff but Spider-Man the movie had me I have to say. I recently went to see Time Machine and found myself bored by the predictable script. I expected Spider-Man to be predictable and it just WAS NOT. I thought Peter Parker was very relatable and his being spider man was a curse as well as a gift in some sense. The end had a twist to it, not the usual love story ending which I liked and did not predict. The visual effects were, need ...
...are so far fetched and the morality of Spider-Man the Movie is what I appreciated in this film. This movie is for the boys and the girls. It is action, it is love, it is struggle and it is overcoming struggles. I recommend it as a 'go and see it'. ...

Spider-Man 2 (GameCube)

Just as the new film is a great improvement on the already solid original, so too ... more

isSpider-Man 2: The Movie(the game) a significant
improvement on previous video game simulations of
New York's friendly neighbourhood web-slinger.As
you'd expect, the new game works along the same
basic lines as the last one but is actually a very
noble attempt to completely expand the concept and
the way it's implemented. The biggest change is
the that the game is now much more free-form,
rather than being strictly mission based, and you
can swing around New York City all you like,
getting involved in side quests (such as stopping
minor robberies) before getting around to the
wider plot.The actual business of web-slinging has
been greatly improved so that your webbing now
actually connects with buildings, instead of just
attaching to thin air, and so the whole business
of getting around the city becomes more
"realistic". The combat system has also been
completely overhauled, although it's still fair to
say that the interior levels are far less
entertaining than bouncing around New York and
getting involved in aerial scraps. The game
realises this though and the majority of the
action now takes place outside as you not only
follow the plot of the movie, taking on main bad
guy Dr Octopus, but also tackling some of Spidey's
other villains from the comic books, including the
Vulture, Rhino and Shocker--as well as meeting
alternative love interest Black Cat. Hopefully
someday all comic book games will be this
good.--David Jenkins
