Advantages: A long and entertaining read Disadvantages: More than a passing esoteric interest needed
I discovered this magazine quite by accident. Having been bored and looking for something different, it was a case of this one or another on angling. It won’t appeal to everyone but I couldn’t resist taking "Spirit & Destiny" home. It isn’t your usual horoscope magazine but incorporates ... ...I found it diverse enough to keep me interested for more than an hour and I am still going back to it for various snippets of information even now.
If you only want to giggle your way through your monthly forecast this would be quite an expensive way to do it. But if your into natural healing and organic living with an open mind on other esoteric subjects then you might want to give this rag a read. Maybe I should coin that phrase...!
I think it ...

Advantages: lots of information Disadvantages: nothing
...few of the recipes in Spirit and Destiny and they have always turned out really nice. One month they featured some feng shui recipes and these where really enjoyable to make and since trying some of these my own cooking skills seem to have improved especially when it comes to food presentation.
On top of all this there are many different articles each month on alternative lifestyles divination , cooking, diet, health, fashion, beauty, magic spells, ... ...of pages advertising Psychics.
Spirit and Destiny is on sale 13th-15th of each month costing £2.80 for about 115 interesting pages of information.

Advantages: Less adverts then other mags... Disadvantages: Not many places sell it!
I started reading this magazine in September 2003, and have had every magazine the have published since. I have to admit, this is the first magazine that I have just HAD to get every month. Others have been when I remembered, or felt like it, but if I've missed a couple I haven't worried.
Every month there is a page that tells you the important days in that month, depending on where the moon is etc, then there are also in depth forecasts for the ... ...accurate! I have to admit that my favouirte section is that of Silja. She gives you tips (this month it was on superstition), and every other month she explains one of the deity's in the Wicca religion. People also write in with questions and concerns, and Silja gives them advice (when there is a non magical alternative Silja always chooses this).
There are lots of different, interesting articles every month, and a section written by the Barefoot ...

The only problem i have found is that i cannot put it down until i have read it cover to cover and then i have to wait a whole month before the next issue!
Another disadvantage is that is not easy to find in the shops, Tesco's ...
