    Battlefront 2 is the sequel to the hugely popular 'Star Wars: Battlefront'. The game takes all of the best elements from the first game and adds even more into the mix making it a fun and addictive game to play. The game is based in the Star Wars Universe which will please alot of fans of the genre, however this does not limit it. Non-fans can easily enjoy the game as a stand alone shooting game.     Star Wars Battlefront 2 was the first game I had bought for my PS2 and i enjoyed it all the way upto the release of the Ps3! First thing to notice about this game is that it is an online game which is rare for such an old game and believe it or not, the community is still thriving! Well in terms of thriving, i mean theres still a good 20 maybe 30 people on the game at the same time. The community was never really huge, maybe only a few hundred people.     Long, long ago, in a galaxy remarkably similar to this one, there were games like Rebel Assault, Jedi Power Battles, and Revenge of the Sith.     Star Wars Battlefront II is the sequel to Star Wars Battlefront.     After playin the first battlefront I couldn't wait to get hold the sequal. By Christmas it was mine and soon had it up and running. It was exactly as I expected, the same great shoot em up action game. But this time only better with its enhanced graphics and new features I was lost in a world of my own. featuring great outer space battles and more vehicles than before.     Star Wars Battlefront 2 is a really excellent representation of the rise to power of the emperor and his new empire and I think that it is good to fill in what was missed in the gap between episodes 3 and 4. The tutorial places you straight into the battle on Geonosis from the end of Episode 2 and shows you the basics of the game. Although I rarely use tutorials in games, this one is much more helpful than I thought it could be. I think that the storyline will be easy for Star Wars fans to follow and it may make the game more enjoyable. To play all of the instant action levels would take a ... more

    Star Wars Battlefront II is the sequel to Star Wars Battlefront which was a classic of the action first person shooter genre and battlefront II doesn't disappoint unlike many of the start wars film sequels. Battlefront II remains pretty faithful to the original game (If it ain't broke why fix it?) The controls are 90% the same with a couple of neat additions (soldiers can sprint now for example (hold down L3)).
