Advantages: Safety features and cutting strength
Disadvantages:

...Hillcrest Landscapes we only used Stihl due to its reliability and ability to keep on cutting when the other ones fell by the wayside. I only ever did ground work with a stihl but man did it give a nice cut. The chain break always did its job when the saw "kicked back" at me. Otherwise I would have lost at least one arm. I currently have 2 and can be thankful to the safety features on them. Im suprised their hedge cutters and Strimmers have not made ... Read review

Advantages: excellant saw, great for garden useage
Disadvantages: quite pricey

This is a great chainsaw for household use although for commercial use it cannot take the battering a more hardy model could do . It is great as an introduction saw and ideal for small trees. it is important to remember to wear the correct safety clothing whilst using this and the in box instructions are not that noticable. Wow, I have used a many a chainsaws in my time but this HAS to be the strongest boss of them all. It can cut through anything you want it to. I thought that I would try it out on the bush next to my house and it tore right through the thing, almost ma bloomin house an all. It was mad. It has a lot of power to it.
