Cameron Diaz is a lucky girl. First of all, she’s funny, self-effacing and darn gorgeous. No wonder Justin Trousersnake has apparently fallen for her charms. The woman is such a babe that Stila created a special lip-gloss just for her! A Charlie's Angel that is. A lip-gloss made just for Cameron Diaz is a lip-gloss that simply has to be in my collection. Well a glaze to be exact. I am addicted to make up that is bright, colourful, quality and last but not least expensive. Well come on expensive stuff tends to be of better quality so why not?? If my memory is working right this product was brought to my attention some two years ago. I was killing time in Fraser's, and a representative of the brand approached me, as they do. Usually they pounce too much for my taste, but in this case I got interested enough to let the women apply some of this lip gloss for me to test. At the time there weren't as many shades as now. The browns were too much like what I had already, I never touch anything remotely pink, and red is usually too intense for every day use, though I do use it at times. I am a bit of a lipstick, lipgloss and lipbalm addict and heard about this lipgloss a while ago via a magazine if I remember correctly. I instantly wanted it but couldn't find it anywhere and then forgot about it. I eventually got it recently after seeing it on the ASOS site and I paid £15. I wouldn't usually pay this for a lipgloss (especially a lipgloss which contains just over 2 grams of product), but my boyfriend told me to take his bank card and buy myself whatever I wanted as he is useless at buying birthday presents, so this was part of my little (or not so little!) birthday haul last ... more

**MY FIRST IMPRESSION** I first came across the iconic Stila Lip Glaze when I was browsing through my favorite beauty mag. The lip glaze's quirky and kitsch packaging certainly caught my eye. Being the lip gloss addict that I am I decided to give it a try but the glaze's ludicrously high price, a whopping RM85 (I'm a Malaysian) made me think twice. Advantages very summery colours, nice packaging
Disadvantages taste can be very addictive

On a short visit to the United States last year I happened to come across a lovely brand of make up called Stila. I have to admit the packaging was what I was attracted to. It was lovely and colourful. The range in my personal opinion is made especially for the younger market. Brands like Estee Lauder and Yves San Laurent seem to be more popular with the older market. My mum lives on these brands but I do often purchase the odd lipstick from brands like these. The packaging for some reason seems much more hip and cool, packaging teenagers would love to have sitting on their dressing table. The ... more

Stila are a fairly expensive but quirky range of cosmetics and have a much younger image than most of the established good quality ranges. Their lip glazes were brought into the spotlight by Cameron Diaz in Charlie’s Angels, when she couldn’t find a lip gloss she liked for her character. Advantages great colour, easy to apply, feels good, flattering range of colours

I was amazed to find this in TK Maxx for 3.99 when it usually costs at least £10! Needless to say I snapped it up despite having more than enough lip glosses. I picked a bright, deep red colour and I am very happy with it. The product is easy to apply can can be applied thinly to give a lovely sheer tinted look or you can apply more for an amazing high-voltage pout with a glass like shine. The colour is intense and well pigmented, you don;t need to apply a lot to get good coverage and the pen and brush style applicator works very well, allowing for quick and precise application.
