This was one of those books which you hear so much publicity about then kick yourself until you listen to it, I bwas browsing my local library when I came across this and decided to give it a try. I am now a Anthony Horowitz fan, it just goes to show! The plot, which is set out in a simple way, with lots of catches and despite all that is still pretty easy to understand is about a boy called Alex who's parents have died in a car crash and he lives with his uncle.
