Advantages: It looks good. Disadvantages: Colds spots in ovens. Customer service is rubbish. Engineers like their belt buckles.
...it returned but I called Stoves to give them a chance to fix it. They arranged an engineer to come out but the new lid would be sent separately. The engineer came before the lid! He told me to call back when the lid arrived.
A couple of days later the lid arrived with the engineeer a couple of days after that. He opened the box and the lid was smashed so he got on the phone to order another. After another wait I found myself with another lid and ... ...to leave and I called Stoves again. They actually apologised and asked me if the scratch was noticeable enough to see it. "Err, yes, I saw it, that's why I'm calling, would I be calling if I didn't see it?". They arranged another lid and I asked them to arrange an engineer without a belt buckle.
Finally it was fixed, my cooker was up and running.
Now the cooker itself. I purchased the silver one with chrome handles and a black hob. Its supposed ...

Advantages: Double oven and extra width make family cooking easy Disadvantages: May be wider than the space in your kitchen
I was not planning to replace my cooker until the old one died last November. But how glad I am that I did!
This stylish cooker looks great in the kitchen. The pristine white is set off superbly by the glass cover which keeps dust and grease away from the rings.
It has four rings - 2 medium, one small and one very large, each of which can be adjusted for height of flame.
The top oven also houses the grill and is very useful if you are cooking ... ...baked potatoes, as you are running a smaller oven therefore cooking more economically.,
The large oven is great if you need to put a large pot of something in or need to use more than one shelf at once. As this oven is heat -zoned you can cook the Sunday roast with roast potatoes around in the centre and put a fruit pie or crumble lower down. You can also move things down to the bottom which are almost ready so they will keep warm without burning.

Quick review of Stoves 600SIDOM
I have this cooker and it caught fire, the rubber sill came loose from behind the knob and my daughter ignited the cooker not smelling the gas and there was a big bang and it caught fire, the firemen said she was lucky not to have got injured. The man came to fix it and did not charge even though he had to replace knobs and rubber sill as they had melted and the 2 years waranty is up which makes me think they wanted as little fuss made as possible. will be replacing the cooker asp and would not touch another one with a barge pole. ...

...before choosing to buy a Stoves cooker, they seem to be one of the most reliable makes and good quality. It was an expensive buy but I thought it was worth it to get exactly what I wanted.
It is silver with smoked glass in the oven doors, the knobs are black and silver and it looks great.
This is a dual fuel cooker with electric ovens and gas hob, so you get the best of both worlds. The bottom oven is big enough for a 20lb turkey and is fan assisted. ... ...fan assisted. The knobs are easy to turn and there is electronic ignition. The clock is easy to set and there is a timer.
The hob has a smoked glass lid, it automatically cuts off the gas if you close it with a burner lit. When shut it can be used as an extra worktop but I would not risk putting hot dishes from the oven on it.
I bought mine from John Lewis for £449 with a two year guarantee, and it was delivered on the day I wanted it.

Advantages: loads of shelf holders in both ovens, good safety features Disadvantages: can't think of any!!!
...it did!. The Stoves is a very sleek and stylish oven. Having two ovens has come in very handy when the extended family is over because you can operate both at same time, if your only cooking something small then the top oven is ideal and very economical.
The safety features are good if you have the gas rings on and somebody accidently closes the glass lid then the rings will turn off by themselves the same also applies to the grill, if the grill ...

...problem with the top oven stoves sent enginer out quickly the faulty component was changed by a polite and smartly dresses man with the minimum of fuss and mess. I have been very pleased with costomer services. The top of the oven is easy to clean once the pan supports have been removed.
Overall i like this oven. I feel it was value for money compared with other all gas cookers.
Only 1 suggestion i would of liked a 600mm wide oven that had solid ...
