Advantages: Looks good, knobs easier to read than some rivals. Double oven.
Disadvantages: Poor temperature control in both oven and hob

I am very disappointed with this cooker. When I had to replace my Cannon, which I loved, because it was so old that I couldn't get spare parts (and it was costing me £100 a time to get a mechanic) I chose this model because it looked more solid than the corresponding Cannon - especially the cover, and the numbers on the knobs seemed easier to read. It certainly looks good but the bottom oven is significantly smaller than the Cannon and there is less ... Read review

...using the dial. I purchased the stoves 61GDO over the internet after viewing the actual model in Comet. I wanted a good looking stainless steel cooker with two ovens and timer controls. Also wanted a zoned oven. When cooker installed I turned on top oven and bottom oven to warm up. 15 minutes later opened bottom oven and found it was working OK. awfull cooker. the thermostat does not work after 6 months. every thing was burning on gas mark 2. the front burner has stopped working after a year. the knobs are plastic and melt so that you cannot use them. so you need to keep ordering new knobs.now the oven does not work. no gas comes through and no heat.. the worst cooker ever. waste of money.
