The total came to about £20, which was quite dear but they were items I’d been looking for, for some time. BUT, when the items were delivered I had to pay an additional £11.45 in customs charges. DO NOT USE. I wish i had read reviews here. I ordered some perfume to be delivered as a gift. I had an email requesting a copy of a utility bill to prove my address so they could process the payment. This sounded very suspicious to me, as i've never had to do that on any website. I sent them a strongly worded email, and got an instant auto-response with the same address request. The website also does not recognise my order number. No payment has been taken as yet, so i will hopefully block payment and change ALL my numbers in time. StrawberryNet: UK Warning Duties around 30% of cost. Beware. I purchased a present for my wife cost £66 incl delivery, when it arrived I got a bill through the Post Office for £19.55 for VAT and an £8 Handling charge. Extortionate and the warnings on Strawberrynet website are wholly inadequate. If you live in the UK Beware of Strawberrynet they are Not Cheap. NO STARS******************had no idea my item would be coming from Hong Kong, probably because you pay in sterling and there is no suggestion thats where they are based so I was sucked in by the low price and free delivery in the UK, well I've learnt my lesson now as my product is nowhere to be seen weeks and weeks later, goodness only knows where is it because the tracking number I have isn't recognised, Strawberry NEVER reply to emails and I am pretty sure should it EVER turn up the customs charge is going to wipe out the savings. I purchased 75ml vivienne westwood boudoir perfume from strawberrynet and never received the product, despite the money for the product being debited from my account the following day after I completed the order form!!! A confirming email was never sent to me, despite the website claiming it would, so I have no order number!!!! After speaking to many different people via emails ( as there is no phone number ) nothing has been resolved and Im out of pocket with no perfume!!! stay well clear of this company, you cannot trace them!!!??? ...

I purchased 2 bottles of perfume for $127 US dollars. Next day received a bill from StrawberryNet for 127 British pounds (over $250 US dollars). Sent them email regarding the problem, their reply was that it would take some time to research the problem. Did not hear from them for 2 weeks. Sent another email and their only reply was to say that the billing was right. Tried to return the product and they would not even acknowledge my emails. Product received was fine. I have had a similiar experience with Strawberrynet charges as most readers on this site. I was hit with a postage charge and whats more the post office refused to give me a receipt for the charge. I cannot even claim a refund on this. Their customer care is clueless and they keep sending the same "canned" responses over and over again. I purchase goods from this company not aware that although it states "free shipping" it is not free. I had to pay Royal Mail £14.65 tohave my package, this was VAT and postage/handling costs. So please be aware it could work out a lot cheaper to buy the products from your local store as in my case it certainly would!! ...
