Advantages: Looks Great, Plays Great, Feels Like Old Times Disadvantages: A Lot Of The Characters Feel The Same, Can Get Boring By Yourself
Street Fighter 2, as I'm sure you all know, was a massive hit back in the 90's. Every kid I knew liked Street Fighter, it was just a universal thing, you liked games you liked Street Fighter. Now years down the line Capcom have released their newest edition to the SF family, and does it have the same likeability factor of the original game that captured so many of our hearts as children? Does a 2D fighter have a place in a 3D world? Read on and find ... ...to that of the original Street Fighter with only a few changes. The first thing your probably going to notice in your first fight will be how smoothly the game flows, it looks great and comes with virtually no frame rate slow down even when things get messy. The animations flow from one to another flawlessly, it just feels natural, like it should. I was impressed at how well the game ran. The game uses cell shading and looks absolutely superb, each ...

Advantages: Great Game Play, Awesome Retro Feel, Pure Street Fighter Fun Disadvantages: Other than the price and one or two audio annoyances, none!
...today able to play test Street Fighter 4. I'm not going to lay this out as I normally would my reviews, as this is a preview that I wish to get up ASAP. The overall fluidity and appearence of the game is phenomenal. From the jaw droping art style of the intro sequence to the animation of the characters, the style of this game consistantly hits you in the face with a big fat slice of Awesome pie. At first, it's weird to see the Characters having such ... ...the feel of the classic Street Fighters - you've got a winner. Which leads me to the next point. How does it play? Over the years, so many people have worried that any 3D version of street fighter just will not play as Street Fighter should. But let me tell you right now, that you can abolish this worry from your mind because this game plays the same way Street Figher 2 plays apparet from one or two character changes. And I mean it. You could probably ...

Advantages: Street Fighter is back! With Great online play! Disadvantages: Seth...
...been a long time since Street Fighter 2, so when i heard Street Fighter 4 had came out for the Xbox 360, i was straight down the shop to get it! The graphics, now 3d, still are in the style of Street Fighter 2. When fighting theres still things going on in the background. The control system hasnt changed much at all, the good old down round to right + punch is hadouken, for newbies this is all you will need :P. The arcade mode is very good, going ... ...after that you fight Seth. Whoever invented him needs to be fired as he is very hard to beat! Online gameplay is good but can become annoying if you have the setting selected where when you are in arcade mode, you can be interrupted by anyone who wishes to fight you online. ...

Advantages: Fast exciting play, Unique special and ultra attacks for every character Disadvantages: Short health bars leading to relatively short games
I've been playing street fighter since the age of 9 in the ex alpha series. However, Street Fighter IV is a totally different experience in that the overall game speed appears to be faster. In addition, there is a new attack called the focus attack. To perform this attack, the medium punch and medium kick have to be held down simultaneously. This absorbs one attack from your opponent. Thereafter, you should release the two buttons for a counter attack ... ...the counter will become unblockable. There are 25 playable characters in the game ranging from the originals ryu and ken to the new boss seth. Other notable aspects of the game include super attacks which require a super metre (which builds up when you hit your oppenent), and ultra attacks which require a revenge metre (that builds when you get hit by your opponent). Every special and ultra attack is unique for that specific character. I feel that ...
