    RICHADA, THE SOFT-CORE ENTHUSIAST! I pondered long and hard over a suitably witty or pithily gripping review title for this particular review and came down to a short-list of two - one appertaining to the Impreza WRX STi, the other to my own personal perception of myself as a car and motoring enthusiast.     for a short period i owned a 1999 sti type ra (know own a type r sti4) These cars are excellent cars dropped staright from the rally to the customer. these cars can out perform many cars at price you can't argue with. From standard (these are import only cars) they kick out 280 BHP and can easily reach 330 with very few modifications. The car has a very nice burble from the exhuast which is the impreza trade mark, some people dont like it and can be fixed with equal length manifold. These cars handle like go karts becasue of thier 4WD it is excellent for handling and needs a little experience ... more

    i own a subaru impreza wrx sti type D 2007. this car is awesome it comes as standard 320 bhp, the road handling is excellent comfortable, low noise, and fitted with smart nav. it has a high quality pioneer cd ipod player and answers my phone with out touch once the phone call ends it terminates the call. phonebook can be installed on to the stereo and you can ring people just at the tough of the button brilliant. the smartnav unit is excellent whilst driving if lost you can touch the button on the side of the seering wheel and this will ring smartnav who know who you are and can send ... more

    I currently own an Impreza Turbo 2000, modified to 300bhp. I had the pleasure of test driving this car at my local Subaru dealer while some repairs where being made to mine. I was shocked by the acceleration of this model, it was without a doubt the quicked impreza i've driven (and I've driven a few) it felt like i was in a luxury german car, so confortable yet the performance was amazing. I could feel the car just grip to the road like glue, even on the tight a twisty roads, again, like no other impreza!     Having owned three imprezas now i have finally decided to go for the sti type uk.It was a choice between the evo and the sti as i had just got rid of a standard wrx but driving both it only came down to one, the sti.Now theres two sayings for this car good ,bad (lol) it is ideal for my two young children plenty of room for the family and of course the shopping, but saying that if you have had abit of a stressful day then this car will put that smile back on your face.Get yourself nicely in the seat, pick your favourite cd, find a nice road and feel that smile come back.One thing before you go ... more

    Advantages Advantages very fast , amazing acceleration, easy to mod, stunning

    Disadvantages Disadvantages only some have full electrics packs , the uk models are not as highly tuned as the japanese models

    Where do i start? Fell in love with this car a long time ago so had to buy one , got at a very reasonable prive of £9000 and worth every penny The acceleration is outstanding , pushes you back into your seat .The sound of the flat four engine is one only associated with the impreza. Very comfortable seats , feels incredibly responsive whilst driving , low service costs . This car is very easy to perform modifications on , but you dont need to as the performance of this car is out of this world! but if you do decide to modify , the parts are reasonaby priced and will not break the bank if you ... more

    The car being reviewed here is 2011 Subaru Impreza 2.0 WRX STI. I had an absolute blast driving this car. It had a completely reworked suspension. For me the 2011 Subaru Impreza has more aggressive front end styling, compared to previous model years . The grille has been blacked out, and the front dips down lower into a more muscular and pronounced front facia. On the back end it also has quad tailpipes, and the wheels are lighter 18 inch alloys. I can see carried forward from 2010 is the prominent hood scoop which funnels air into the turbo intercooler...I'm big fan of how that looks ... more
