Advantages: Not a bad little car Disadvantages: Overpriced, understylish - no longer a match for the competition
This is fundamentally a reasonable car. There is nothing particularly bad about it. It’s just that when it is placed alongside its rivals, such as the Saxo, 106 etc. it really looks a little out of touch.
Of course this is not a proper Subaru. It is simply a Suzuki Swift with a different badge. Whilst putting on the badge, true they changed the odd one or two little details. It is now 4-wheel drive not 2, and is little more refined inside. And they ... ...I’m afraid this car does not really belong alongside the Imprezza, Legacy and Forester. It really is not of the same class as other Subaru’s. It really is doing the brand no favours, and the sooner it is removed from the line up the better. If you do like the shape, buy a Suzuki Swift and save yourself a couple of grand. ...

Review of Subaru Justy 1.0
Advantages: Nice little 4wd Disadvantages: expensive parts
The Justy is a great car if you are in need of a small 4 wheel drive vehicle, as it is practically the only the only such model available. It is no longer produced unfortunately, but there are still a few of these about. In general you can pick them up pretty cheap because garages have trouble selling them (4wd is fairly niche).
The reliability is fairly high on the Justy, and it provides a suprising amount of power for the size of the engine (1.2)
... ...the vehicle, probably because of cost cutting by Subaru. I get 35 - 40 mpg from this vehicle.
Performance on snow and ice is very good, and I have used it to go off-road (although not seriously) in very wet and muddy conditions. If you wanted to really use it off-road the tires would need replacing with something wider. Parts are very expensive unfortunately. Usually you will have to get them in from Japan, which is a pain, takes a long time, and ...

Advantages: 4wd, cheap to run, cheap to buy, Disadvantages: It says Subaru, but it's a Swift!
I owned this car for nearly a year and it was absolutely brilliant! I had no problems with it during my ownership at all. The permanent 4-wheel-drive is a god send (seeing as though the snow can get bad in my area) and can handle all weathers. It can also be taken off road as long as you beware of the ground clearance. Although the 1.3 engine is not exactly fast, it had more power than the 1.3 Fiesta I had previously owned. The drive was nice and ... ...quite loud at high revs, but was quiet during normal driving. The boot appears small, but is surprisingly large. With the back seats down, I managed to get a mini-bike, a passenger, and someone in the back up a dirt track, and across a field on several occasions. The interior does look a bit tacky and outdated now, but everything is right where you need it. It also has half-decent speakers as standard. The body panels, interior, wing mirrors etc. ...

Advantages: cheap tax, insurance, gets you from A to B Disadvantages: looks dated
...anything else, sorry!
The Subaru Justy was the first car I ever bought. It was silver, E reg and cost me £300. I needed a little car to get me around while I was at Uni, and a car to get me back home at weekends. Now, prior to this car, I was driving my dads Honda CRX, and boy! did I notice the difference once I got into this.
The Justy has a 1.2 petrol engine, but it is only 3 cylinder. I affectionately compared it to a lawnmower engine! It was ... ...I am sure that Subaru would have added these in later models.
The ride was ok, nothing really stood out, good or bad. The only thing I will say, is that it's hardly the fastest car on the block acceleration wise, but it would get you there eventually and was quite capable of a steady plod up the motorway.
I had my Justy for around 2 years. It was very reliable, started first time, every time. It passed it's MOT's with only a little bit of welding ...

...the old Swift you need Subaru parts! Exhausts are especially expensive!
Really comfortable, while being not too big it's big enough to comfortably get 2 in the front and 2 in the back. Basci features inside but what do you expect from a little supermini like this!
Handling is great - the power assisted steering works wonders, the car holds the road well and it's fun to drive.
Although it may look odd - don't judge by this - you can sport it up ...

Advantages: Little Car Disadvantages: Not the newest!
I recently bought a Subaru Justy G reg car, which was advertised in a local advertising paper, for driving round fields and help me learn to drive! I got it home and went straight out in it! It is a great car, alothough i dont have any previous driving experience or know much about cars i would recommend anyone who wants a reasonably cheap, small yet spacious, car that the Justy is a brilliant choice!!!!
The Subaru justy comes in 1.2 and 1.3 litre ... ...the things you could want in a car like four wheel drive!!
The main downfall i see in this car is the difficulty in changing gears!! I dont know if it is just my inexperience of cars or that my car is older and has certain faults but i found that the gears were really difficult to change! ...

Advantages: Great speed and style Disadvantages: lost of speeding fines
The subaru is such an amazing car. It has power it hadaling and it has style. There is a lot of fast cars about but without the style they are noting. With a 0-60 in less than 6 seconds you know this car is fast. with an amazing 220 bhp this is one powerful car.If i were to recomend a car this would be it is the ultimate car. Having driven one of these amazing cars I would have to say to you that you have to buy it. But at the end of the day it is ...
