    Advantages Advantages Cheap, compact up-scaling, multi-region DVD player, good DVD fault tolerance.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages filmsy tray, occasional slow repsonse to remote control.

    Introduction The remote control of my pacific DVD player bought >5 years ago has developed a fault (only the play button does not respond however it is the most important button). Also, this region free player can not play any digital video media other than mpg. So it is time to update. Since it was a quick DVD player replacement with HDMI up-scaling capability, I just looked for something at a reasonable price.     This DVD player for the price in my opinion is a very good deal. It allows for High Definition playback and a very good picture is displayed. I would find it difficult to find a better picture from any DVD player and the move up to Blu- Ray is a costly one so for the money I think this DVD player is unbeatable. It's size is a convenient smaller size which allows it to fit into small areas. The sound quality is the only real low point which can be very soft and the volume of the T.V has to be increased but it isnt a major problem.
