Have you got time for the Sunday Times

Advantages: A lot of paper for the money
Disadvantages: It is big!

...a regular reader of the Sunday papers, but lately I have taken to purchasing The Sunday Times. The price is currently £1.10 and what good value this newspaper is, in fact I tend to read it over a few days, as there is so much to take in! What do you get for your money? You get a newspaper, which tries to give the facts behind the latest news stories, also a wide range of articles, which because of their variety would probably appeal to everyone ...

Best quality newspaper in the UK

Advantages: Tremendous value for money
Disadvantages: Poor circulation sales

...newspapers. I progressed onto ‘the Sunday Express’ which I read for a couple of weeks. When I started work in 1984 I had moved on to ‘the Observer’. But a friend of my aunty said that ‘Observer’ readers were snooty so I gave that up. As I had only 30 minutes lunchbreak I could read ‘the Sun’ and finish my lunch within this time. In 1986 I moved to an IT firm which had Oxford and Cambridge graduates ...
...I started buying ‘the Sunday Times’ to increase my intellectual ability. It took 5 days to read my first copy. But the jump up from tabloid to broadsheet reading proved too much for me. I went back to the tabloids. At the back of my mind I felt that I was doing the right thing as 5 million people bought ‘the News of the World’ every Sunday as opposed to 1 million for ‘the Sunday Times’. In 1994 I started to read ...

The Sunday Crimes

Advantages: Weighty, wide variety of sections, quality of writers
Disadvantages: Right-wing, unionist, owned by Murdock

...read I have read the Sunday Times every week. My father has bought it every Sunday, almost religiously, even before I came on the scene, so I had little choice. But now I’m a student, away from home and still buying it for myself. At this point I would like to point out that I completely disagree with the politics of The Sunday Times. I believe Rupert Murdock to be almost as big and evil a megalomaniac as the villain based on him in the Bond ...
...so to not buy The Sunday Time sin protest would be very hypocritical. The Sunday Times is a very big paper. Along with the conventional main section seen every day of the week is a wealth of other sections. For £1 it represents very good value. If I was to follow my weekly buying habits I would by the Observer, but I positively choose the ST because it represents the polar opposite to what I believe in. The main section constantly offers its racist, ...

Do not miss it

Advantages: Content, analysis, variety
Disadvantages: Some crappy bits

...advert strapline always says "The Sunday Times Is The Sunday Papers", and they're absolutely spot on. The paper gives extremely good value for money for its cover price of just £1.10. If you're too tight to fork out that much, then you can get the whole lot online each week at www.sunday-times.co.uk - I'm going to consider in detail the edition from May 13 2001, number 9,220. I started getting the ST regularly about five years ago and I've stuck ...
...somehow just tradition, like the Sunday roast, to have a lie in with the Sunday paper. I'm going to give a brief summary of the individual sections now so that you know exactly what you're getting for your dosh. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Main Newspaper ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The ST does the news extremely well, with very good writing and reporting, including excellent analysis of the implications and meaning of the events it ...

MY GIRLFRIENDS PUSSY LOVES IT...

Advantages: Interesting, Something for everyone
Disadvantages: Weight for the poor news deliverer's

I only but the Sunday Times as it's the only day I really get to sit down and relax properly, so I prefer something that contains more than just scandal, lies and fornication material! The Sunday Times is a tabloid paper; well worth the current price of £1.20 as it contains 8 sections plus 3 magazines. At the end of each mammoth read it serves well to line my girlfriends cat litter tray.(Hence the title of my opinion) ======= SECTION ONE ======= ...
...this is devoted to the Sunday Times Enterprise Network which case studies a small business and offers improvement advice from a board of well known faces from big name companies. ======= SECTION FOUR ======= The Travel Section, this I find is one of the better sections, they usually start off with focusing on a certain travel destination(s) listing where, what, how and why? The next few pages are devouted to consumer issues such as readers rants ...

Time for a quality read on a lazy Sunday

Advantages: Quality, easy to read, very informative
Disadvantages: none

The Sunday Times must be the best newspaper on the market. Although the price has recently risen to £1.20 it is still cheaper than some trashy magazines that contain nothing. Where do I start? The new section is informative, articulate and fairly unbiased covering all oif the issues in the news to a full degree. the comment is also good, particularly the witty Jeremy Clarkson. Sport next, first class for football reports, great for all other sports ...
...Radio listings for the week. And then - once you've read it all it is Sunday again and you buy a new one. To be honest I don't have time to read it all, but I know what I like and would advise anyone to try it out on Sunday. ...

...the paper boy delivers our Sunday Times I try and open the door for him to save him having to force the paper though the letter box. The Sunday Times consists of many sections each covering a different topic from news to travel to business. There is something for every one really. The paper costs around £1, however, it can represent good value for money if you read it. There are so many sections and extras that it could take people a whole week ...

Total Trust in Sunday Times

Advantages: nearly always correct tv listings.
Disadvantages: man, what a heavy paper! Paper boys must dread sundays.

...price you are paying, the Sunday Times is really excellent quality with so much content, it's a wonder that everybody isn't subscribed. There are lots of informative and fun sections and I'm sure everybody has a few favourites that they grab first. This opinion is mainly about the Culture section and how Sunday Times should be trusted as they do do their research. I read the culture which said Ghostbusters II would be on and as I love the first ...
...those other cheap totally tv mags. It said Ghostbusters the original was on. After checking with the Channel 4 website it is the sequel that is coming on and now that I think about it other mags make mistakes but the sunday times seems to get it's facts strait. ...
