AVOID SUPANET! The only reason I became one of their customers is because I purchased a PC from "TINY" and it was set to work only with Supanet. I then upgraded to broadband 2 yrs ago, which took 4 weeks and the service was indifferent, but I have just changed over to AOL and this is where the real problems started. Withholding my MAC code, charging after the termination of service, penalty fees for not sending my equipment back in time even though I had no address to send it to until I recieved the penalty notice (they charge £2 for the set up disc!). And this is on top of the snotty saleman telling me how bad AOL were going to be.

I have also just cancelled my subscription due to horrific service, poor download rates along with high latency - 150ms plus on a day to day basis. The cancellation charge is a rip off - £30 (if cancelled with 24 months of joining) along with the £30 fee if you do not return the cheap USB modem. Aviod like the plague!!

Please dont waste time and money with this ISP ,very poor customer service tech help useless! and and a nasty end of contract clause Ive had 2 years of crap with these and cant wait to change also modem provided very poor (kept breaking connection)

Supanet service was very variable with a lot of line drops. Additionally watch out - their contract penalises you within 2 years, not one year. I would not recommend this ISP.

I totally agree Supanet are terrible, overpriced and unclear about the details of there packages. please avoid this company you WILL regret it. In fact i am going out of my way to spread this all over the web they are a very snide company.

Terrible. Phone numbers that are no longer available. A sales number that answers in seconds, a cancellation number that I've called several times and held for an hour on a speakerphone each time.... never did get through. Alternative way to cancel is to write to billing depts.... try to find the address!! Rude on the phone, a couple of 'advisors' were extremely difficult to understand. Extremely dubious setup

Just to reinforce the other recent reviews about Supanet. Download speeds have been getting slower and slower. I get 130kbit download speeds in the evening, so watching Youtube etc is very poor, other people on the same exchange at the same time get 800 kbit, so the problem is not local contention, bandwidth restrictions introduced by supanet itself.

Can't think of any!

Appalling customer service.

Had been a dial-up customer for 8 years but upgrading to broadband put an end to my custom. They took 3 weeks to deliver a modem then it wouldn't install. Spent 50 minutes on the phone to tech help in India then had to wait another 4 weeks for a replacement modem! The broadband stopped working 4...
