Advantages Advantages No risk of leaks, smell isn't too bad, affordable.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Can't be used on artificial nails.

Some of you will already know (and some of you are about to find out!) that I like to take care of myself, and that my nails take no exception. I can’t stand having bare toenails (don’t ask me why, maybe I’m just weird?) and I can’t stand having chipped nail polish either, so it’s quite important for me to have a good nail polish remover so that I can keep my nails looking perfectly polished. I’ve already told you about my preferred liquid nail polish remover (see my Sally Hansen review, you know you want to ;-) ) so now is the time to tell you about my ... more

Advantages Advantages Easily removes nail varnish, relitively mess free

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Leaves hands greasy

With the amount of nail varnish I get through it's essential to have a good product that allows me to remove the varnish when it's time for a change, I've never really got on with liquid removers usually spilling them, occasionally loosing their lids etc etc so I decided to try out different styles of nail varnish remover pads and have come to be a fan of Superdrug nail polish remover pads. Coming in a small round tub with an unscrew lid you get 40 or so cotton like pads which are infused with the nail varnish remover. There are 2 specific varieties available, there is the original "nail ... more

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None!

I am a nail varnish girl! I always like to have my nails painted. I rarely go for vibrant colours and more often than not I tend to stick to paler colours. I’ve found by doing so it’s much easier to maintain your nails! A couple of weeks ago I arranged to a friend’s house on a Thursday night after work for some tea and wine! As we would both be drinking and we live quite far away from each other now, we decided that I would stay over that night. On the Wednesday night I should have got all my stuff ready and packed my overnight bag! But hey it's me we’re talking about! I was so tired and ... more

Advantages Advantages quick and effective way to remove nail polish

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none

I’m very girly when it comes to all things nail related. I like to keep my nails in good shape, keep them nicely filed and love to paint them regularly too. Obviously the regular painting of nails also means one has to regularly remove nail polish from said nails too, which means having nail polish remover on hand for this purpose. I tend not to be loyal to any particular brand when it comes to nail polish remover as the price ranges are such that you get a decent sized bottle for £1 which can last 1 year or more to paying £3 for a rather small bottle just because it’s branded! *The Purchase* ... more

Advantages Advantages Easy to use, very moist and conditioning!

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None!

On my recent trip to Newcastle by plane, I was told I couldn't take liquids that were more than 100ml. So I decided to have a little look around Superdrug and came across these nail polish remover pads. As they were a good price and came in a cute little packaging, I thought they would be ideal and it also saved me some room in my suitcase. -- Appearance -- The packaging is what instantly me attracted to these nail polish pads. The pads come in a gorgeous lilac, circular pot with an screw able lid. The lid keeps the pads secure from drying out and maintains there moisture. On the front of the ... more

Advantages Advantages A resonably priced, great working product

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None

As I usually shop in Superdrug many of the products I buy are from there. But instead of buying bigger brand products, I now buy and use Superdrug’s own products. They are cheaper products, but having said that I find that they are brilliant products. So this review is on Superdrug’s ‘Nourishing Nail polish remover pads’. As it is stated on the little container, the pads contain Aloe Vera and Vitamin E. This product really appealed to me as I do look for products that care and nourish my nails, as I have been trying to grow them for a while now. The nail polish remover pads come in a small ... more

Advantages Advantages Doesn't stink the room out, removes all trace

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none

Moving to university halls, I decided to leave my big bottle of nail polish remover at home. When I got here though, I found that I couldn't last any longer without nail polish so I put on the only colours I had - a layer of black which made the layer of purple that I put over the top look less magenta. I hadn't used pads since I was younger and first started wearing nail polish but I decided revert since the bottled stuff was to smelly and the only space I had to take it off in was my room as I live in halls. This meant that I wanted something less smelly. I bought them from Superdrug since ... more
