Suzuki Grand Vitara 2.0 16v

Have been an owner of the new style Grand Vitara (2006) (2.0 petrol) for just over 2 years. Except for what I consider a long run-in period (almost 1000 miles) the drive has been excellent. A little more juicy than the diesel but the improved style and space inside is a good improvement on the older model. The new method of folding down the rear seats is excellent. Excellent off and on the road. Only one fault so far and that was when one of the wheel locking nuts broke during its first service at the dealer. Comfortable, easy to drive. Air conditioning works a treat. One criticism woul be the spare wheel as due to the size of the tyres the vehicle comes equipped with only an emergency spare which would require replacing at the earliest opportunity. Best car EVER!!!!!!! Smooth, solid and stylish it blasts the other 4x4's off the road with power and finesse. Desired by both yummy mummys and corporate dads, the extra leg room in the back goes down well with the kids. Fabulous to look at and a dream to drive. Average petrol consumption for 2.0 litre engine but brilliant compared to the gas guzzling Jeeps and the like. Very good value for money, we picked up one less than a year old, new spec with all the extras for £11k. Recommended to drivers everywhere. less
