    I recently passed my test, after a lot of deliberation I went looking for a Bike. I wanted something a little sporty, that both looked good and didn't hurt the Bank account with regards to the insurance. I originally saw an RF after a friend and Work purchased one, I loved the Styling and the Performance from a Pillions point of View. I was generally browsing on Ebay for a bike in my Price Range £1000 - £2000 this would allow me to do any work required to the bike and pay for everything CASH.     Disadvantages Disadvantages the exhaust chokes the power.

    I have had nothing but pleasure out of my rf600, i bought it for about two grand on a N-plate. The only bad points are that when carrying a pillion passenger the original screen deflects all the wind onto the rider as you have to sit upright, this can be changed by investing in an aftermarket screen, i chose a double bubble screen which has done the job nicely. I bought this from a company that make replica fairing and all sorts of aftermarket products, called Skidmarx. Also the standard exhaust is a bit limiting, bit even with that on its still got a lot of 'poke' to it. To give it the little ... more
