    Introduction:- Originally released in 2008 the Suzuki TL1000R is the fully faired counterpart to the TL1000S released a year earlier. The TL1000R was specifically released as a race machine to compete in Superbike championships in both America and Great Britain. It was this racing pedigree that originally tempted me to purchase one of these motorcycles in late 2005. This big 1000cc V-Twin however only lasted for one year before being replaced by the more popular straight 4 GSXR 750.     Looking for a real bike that not only performs but looks and sounds the bollox? Well look no further, the TLR is just that! It is a complete nutter's bike, looks as mean as they come and sounds twice as bad. It is quite a long, and chunky bike with quite a high saddle, but it can easily slip through the air like a knife through butter. Do you like wheelies? Well the TLR loves to be opened up and thrusted onto the rear wheel. Crack the throttle and she pops up with no effort at all. It handles like a dream and, with the steering damper now fitted as standard, accelerating hard can be more fun ... more
