Better The Devil You Know?

Advantages: Good price plans, Good customer relations (generally)
Disadvantages: Some customer service agents, Secrecy with phone releases, Can have numerous problems

T Mobile are one of the top mobile network operators in this country and in my opinion they offer mostly a great service and seem fairly competitive in terms of pricing, allowance and what they offer within the network. Within the contract tariffs they offer a few different options for you to choose from, and within those options you have even more options. I don't think T Mobile could be accused of not giving you much choice! Flext is the name ...
...the one I have experience of personally. Within this tariff, you don't have a set amount of minutes and texts that you can use; instead you have an allowance amount (dependant on which tariff/how much you pay per month) and you can use your allowance however you like between minutes, texts, multi media messages and video calling - these all have a set price per minute/unit of usage and thus determine how your allowance gets used. I think this is ...

Is the "T" for Terrible customer service?

Advantages: Good coverage.....
Disadvantages: Poor customer service

...upon customer services aspects of T-Mobile rather than the actual services offered by T-Mobile as a mobile service provider. The category of this review allows for the writers' own interpretation to a certain point of view as it is left quite open and generic and whilst I do cover the services they offer etc, it is specifically concerning customer service….. (Thanks) !! On the 27 June 2006 I visited the T-Mobile store in Derby to purchase a new ...
...Anyway, I was advised that T-Mobile had some good deals on known as Flext tariffs, so I duly took myself of to the local T-Mobile store, located in the centre of Derby city centre. On entering the store and purposely looking a little in need of assistance, I divulged some of the following requirements to the sales staff; · An up-grade from my (then) current Nokia telephone. · A requirement for a tri-band telephone as I travel Internationally a ...

...to meet all your requirements, T-Mobile is one of the worlds leading mobile communication companies and they can provide a service that is second to none and suitable for everyone. A good network/service provider should have something for everyone. The main contenders are, Orange, O2 (previously Cellnet) Vodaphone, Virgin and T-Mobile (previously one2one) they all have different tariffs, price plans and special offers to entice its customers. I had to sign up for a 12 month contract on a certain price plan that I had to keep for 3 months, after three months I would receive a cheque for 12 months line rental and I could change tariffs if I wanted too. I received my phone and all was well, I contacted T-Mobile to activate the phone and followed their instructions of waiting ...

Advantages: Good coverage, excellent UK customer service (from Wales!), great value Flex-T plans

...across. Having been with T-Mobile for a year now, I don't expect to move from them anytime soon. Customer service is important to me. I don't want to have to ring these guys up every five minutes (in fact, I've only had cause to speak to a real person at T-Mobile twice) but when I do have to contact them I expect them to answer me promptly, understand what I want and deal with it. I'm prepared to pay more for a good level of service, and thought ...

They also lump in 10,000 landline minutes off-peak, ...

Flext 35 for the price of my face wash

Advantages: great service and offers
Disadvantages: none for me

When the new T-mobile shop opened in the shopping centre next to my office I went down with a friend to investigate the “excellent 20% off deals” … I wasn’t expecting to find very much if I’m honest. My mobile at the time was nearly 3 years old and pay as you go with another company. I was only using about £10 - £15 of credit a month and a varied mix of texts and calls so I had never gone pay monthly as I had never found one that would work for me ...
...of the time she’s with T-mobile on that contract. Sounded quite a good deal and so I looked into it further for myself. I was more interested in the Flext 35 deal as it would give me £180 worth of credit per month for £35 less the 20% discount. As I stood with my friend whilst she got her phone and everything sorted out I was thinking more and more about doing the same. I ended up going for it. The new phone was the thing that kept swaying me and ...

...it is beyond me why T-Mobile is only recommended by 47% of members because it is one of the best tariffs around. Recently One 2 One changed to T-Mobile and they announced that they would make some changes for the better, but I was happy enough with there great service anyway. ...------------ I signed up with T-mobile after receiving one too many horrifying bills from Orange. Enough was enough and I was getting tired of my rather tired looking Nokia. I was attracted by the television adverts for the then new Samsung A300 and was further drawn by an ad in the metro for a free A-300 on T-mobile’s free time 750 package. I thanked them for being so considerate, made a payment and advised them this was not necessary. But this was not optional. When asked when this ‘credit limit’ ...

When I signed up to T-mobile for the first time a year and a half ago, I must admit that it was actually for the free DVD player that they were giving away for a price plan that was a mere £15 a month. ...may not necessarily be a T-mobile problem. The other thing to note when buying a mobile is that handset that comes with the priceplan. I am not very up to date on the latest Nokia models, so am not in a very good position to comment. I will remark, however, that I noticed that the handset that I got free with the £30 price plan seemed to be more expensive with other networks, or you had to sign up for a priceplan that cost more every month to qualify ...

...The reason I went for T-Mobile is because they have been getting better reviews in magazines and a couple of my friends are with them and they were getting signals in places that I couldn't with Vodafone! The tariff I went for is the 2nd cheapest that T-Mobile provide. It's the FreeTime 750 price plan. Simply Brilliant

Advantages: Fantastic company
Disadvantages: None

T.mobile are really fantastic at customer service. I don't know of any other company where I have been treated so well. Its not like I just happen to stumble across one individual who is doing their job well having been with them for 5 years and still having my internet connection through them I have never had a problem with any of their representatives. I have just rung up to cancel my phone contract. I lost my phone 3 months ago on a night out ...

Recognising that it would be stupid to pay £30 a month for a contract when I was going to be out of the country for 3 weeks of a 4 month billing cycle I changed my tariff to the lowest possible thinking that my minutes would change proportionately to 12.5 (as I had changed to Everyone 25). I have been with T-Mobile (One2One originally) ever since they started, together with my husband and two children. I have recently had the misfortune of having to deal with their Customer Service Department which was an ordeal in itself! I was informed that a courier would come to my office in 3-5 working days to collect the faulty handset and deliver me a ...
