    Advantages Advantages A good read and good background on the band

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Unauthorised so no interviews with the band for the book

    I was not into Take That the first time they formed. I did think a couple of tunes were catchy, but they were a little bit teenybop for me. However, when they reformed, I found their music more appealing and found myself drawn to reading their book. This book lets you into the hard graft behind thier chart success. It was only once I read this book that I realised how much money had to be invested, how relentless they were to get where they wanted, and how talented Gary Barlow really is ('How Deep is Your Love' was written in something like 6 minutes).
