I managed to get through most of the 90s by avoiding Take That. I liked a couple of their songs but by and large I found much of what they recorded to be a bit dull. I loved Robbie’s debut solo album but then went off him a bit when I felt he got a bit too big for his boots. If anyone recalls his Knebworth shows they will know what I mean. When Take That reformed I must admit to liking a few of the songs, but once again actually buying their albums wasn’t really something I was in any great rush to do. Disadvantages Limited Tickets, And Tickets Were quite expensive
I absolutely love Take That, and as my reviews are being written i can assure you loads more will be about Take That things because i am literally obssessed. When i first heard that robbie was coming back to Take That i stood there and screamed at the TV. To hear that my favourite boy band were going to be reunited as one it was a dream come true. Then to hear that they were going to do a european tour with most dates in England, this made my year. Advantages Great effects, great singing, Gary, Mark, Howard, Jason
I have been a massive Take That fan since they were famous the first time around! I was thrilled when they made their comeback and have really enjoyed them as a 4 piece band. I used to think a lot of Robbie Williams (even travelling to Dublin to see him on a solo tour). However, after seeing how he treated Gary on a TV programme, I really went off him. So I was more than a little disappointed when I found out that he would be 'rejoining' Take That for this album and tour.
