Tally Colour Laser 8008

The Tally 8008 looks stunning. It stands proud in the corner of our ICT Suite offering visitors a tangible sensation of cutting edge reprographics. The best way to admire the machine however is on 'standby' for when you begin to demand of it the Tally 8008 provides a fantastic advert for other printing companies. Review of Tally Colour Laser 8008

Unfortunately, we did not have a 5 year on site warranty! The printer was fine during the first year but then problems started and just got worse. Problems range from funny noises over poor printing quality to being on strike altogether. In the beginning, these issues came up when printing many pages (300 pages or so) but now it rattles when just printing a couple of pages. The noises are accompanied by strange printouts. Our printer is now 4 years old. We haven't really used it excessively and it is now virtually useless.... The printer is generally noisy and produces strong smells. The first page takes long. I don't know whether other printers are much better but I would certainly not buy this one again. ...
