I bought my Tamoretti 50cc scooter second hand a year ago. It was registered in 2007 and had 6,000 miles on the clock. I ran fine for about two months, but after that I've had one problem after another with it, which is a shame because it's a great looking bike and draws a lot of admiring glances...

like all engines but especially 2 strokes you need to slowly bild up the revs/power over some 500 miles,start slowly using no more than a third throttle slowly building to full over 500 mile,this does not mean you have to go slow,just build speed slowly,its all about the stress the engine is under and the parts just need to bed in, so gradualy increase revs untill at 500 miles you can be abusive with the throttle as you like.
