    Pop your cherry! There aren’t too many cherry flavoured things around nowadays. The only things I can think of that taste of cherries and kids medicines and cherry drops. This is a real shame because, to be quite honest, I love the taste of cherries. And then the Cherry’s saving grace came along, Cherry Tango. Cherry Tango isn’t something brand new any more but it still isn’t widely known, as it fully deserves to be.     A nice sweet drink of Cherry is what I sometimes opt for, and on Monday I went to the canteen to buy a drink and decided on a bottle of cherry tango, I had not had cherry tango for a while before this, as I usually drink other drinks. The first thing that struck me was the bottle itself. It was a clear red bottle not like the usually tango bottles which are black. It also has two oval ripples which the first one is smaller than the second one and then after the third dip it goes on to like a normal bottle. The ripples make it much easier to hold.     Advantages Advantages Fairly frequent special offers on Britvic drinks, low in calories, does taste quite like cherries.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages High in sugar (which you can taste) & quite sour.

    After having a party recently we seemed to accumulate lots of different bottles of half finished soft drinks that we wouldn't usually have purchased, one of these was Tango Cherry which was something I'd never tried before. This product was chilled before I tried it and it's 'best served chilled' anyway so I consumed it over some icecubes on one of the glorious hot days we've had recently. This drink comes provided in a standard plastic bottle and 2 litres will set you back around £1.78 which seems to be the normal price now for most 2 litre Britvic produced drinks, talk about a price monopoly ... more

    Disadvantages Disadvantages its got artificial sweeteners in it and a bad aftertaste

    The thing about Tango and many other soft drinks these days is that often the manufacturers will replace some of the sugar with artificial sweeteners (aspartame, sodium saccharine, and acesulfame K, for example). This never used to happen... in days of old, these drinks used to have sugar in and therefore actually be SWEET. Whilst replacing sugar with sweeteners might reduce the calorie content, it really affects the flavour and leaves a horrible aftertaste... this is much more noticable in the "Diet" alternatives but you can taste it in the non diet flavours too, and its really ruined these ... more

    Tango have many different flavours but the top on my list is cherry tango. The packaging is fun and colourful with a bright red bottle and cherries exploding on the label- makes it easy to spot between all these wanna be cherry flavours. Many manufactors have tried to get the zing,twist and the kick after you swallow there cherry drinks but in my oppinion have not grasped it,instead leave you feeling thirsty with a dry mouth or the feeling your teeth are about to rot away!     I believe this drink is just the normal typical tango brand style, which tastes like there are a lot of preservatives in there and in my opinion flavourless compared to how strong they could of made the cherry's in this drink. The brand tango is a big brand and like its other flavour of fizzy drinks such as the orange flavour it is clearly not as strong as they should of made it. The taste this drink gives is as if they didn't want to attract your taste buds, not saying the drink tastes bad but only satisfactory to my knowledge.I would not in particularly buy this drink unless it was on sale ... more

    I'm at the local newsagents to buy a drink. But what shall I choose?! Coke, Sprite, Ribena, ah! here it is! Tango Cherry! The fizzy cherry drink is delicious. It is thirst quenching, sweet, almost like the real thing without the stones and stalks............... mmm....................... The packaging is also very eye catching. Most bottles are tall and thin but tango bottles are thick and fat, able to store a lot of tango at the same price of a normal bottle- great! So what I say is, even to people who usually don't like cherry stuff, buy it! Even if you don't like it you have at least tried ... more

    Cherry pop of course this is totaly un-original but tango have relesed this product and i must say have done it well. For around 69p per 500ml can this is a good buy you should be able to buy this at your local shop if not you should be able to get it from your local supermarket. Taste the taste of this pop is crisp and clean in your mouth, and tastes of cherry! for likers of tangos other pops apple,friut fling,orange this is much different .It is a new wonderful experience it leaves your mouth feeling refreshed and feeling great. For people who have not tried any of tangos verious products ... more
