The Tannoy F4 is a little tricky to deal with. I'm an audiophile and appreciate the brand, but it happens the speaker is somewhat nasal at the midrange on opera voices, and so it does not resemble the older M4 model. What corrects this nasal quality is the use of a flat speaker cable; I made use of the Alpha Core Goertz. The speaker takes some time to open up when brand new, but it evolves to a mild timbre which is appealing, and the tweeter sounds soft. It has got good bass and can tackle large dynamics. I used it with Unico amplification and CD from Italy. Cabinet benefits from mass loading and spiking. Recommended if you circumvent its major flaws..... ...
