    Disadvantages Disadvantages cant think of any except that the Salon is in Shoreditch and I live in Fulham

    I have just been back to Taylor Taylor London after a 2 year sabbatical and I had forgotten just how great it was , it hasn't lost any of that magic! My hair has been bleached, been straightened and generally my tresses were close to falling out so in desparation I called the Salon.     Disadvantages Disadvantages Didn't go out of their way for me in the slightest

    I had been to Taylor Taylor several times for both highlights and cuts and was always happy and grateful I'd found the perfect cutter. Then I had a disaster having had my hair dyed back to its natural colour (as I do in the winter) and was left sitting there with the dye on for about 15 mins longer than I was told it needed and it being almost black. I was nearly in tears and then taken to the sinks and had toner put on my scalp which burnt it (and they should never have done that) and then milk poured over it to try and calm it.     One of the most amazing places in London. Not only to they deliver amazing cuts and highlights, but all the staff there are friendly - real genuine people. I have alopecia and my stylist was honest and proffesional and I left the salon walking tall. Every aspect was perfect and the price was pitence compared to west end 'expert celebrity salons' which I foolishly thought could help. The time put into my consultaion was stunning as I have been used to 45 and 30 minute apppointments. Taylor Taylor delivers glamour and luxury with kindness and profesionalism.     I've been going to Taylor Taylor for a couple of years now, but had colour done there until recently. The whole experience has been awful. On the first visit the electricity went out, and the colouring was done with virtually no light, except for a few candles. When the lights came back on in the salon, I noticed that my hair colour was virtually unchanged. However, the light was still poor so I paid and then made a complaint. They agreed to correct the colour. On my second visit, I left feeling quite please with my new highlightes, however they had failed to shampoo and rinse properly. The ... more

    I am very rarely moved to write a review but I have just got back from a trip to Taylor Taylor London and had such a brilliant experience that I felt the need to share !! I am a man of few words so all I will say is that I have only been once and am already a committed fan. A relaxing beer at the bar ( couldn't quite bring myself to have a cocktail but they looked pretty good) , a really great playlist and a perfect cut.     I have been a visitor of Taylor Taylor for many years and have always loved my experience there. Firstly the design, look and feel of the place is well worth the visit, it couldn't be a more beautiful salon if it tried... eclectic, funky and indulgent. I go back to the same stylist for cut and colour and have never had a bad experience, my hair always looks and feels amazing and I feel like a million dollars.The best bits are the service.... cool cocktail bar, great goodies and staff are always on hand to give advice on products and hair care.     Why do they have got a right to give us a hidden charge? I've had straightening system and treatment, my friend had highlights and hair cuts the other day, but I couldn't believe they changed our charge(50 each more than they asked before started)!! extremely expensive!! We know we're too shy to complain.. MOREOVER, my hair is already wavy and very very fragile.. wanna cry for thet.     Just want to say how pleased I was after visiting Taylor Taylor near Spitalfields in London. I travelled with a friend from Manchester for a shopping trip, and cut and colour, we had read some good reviews from other sites but no other review did the salon justice. We were greeted with a cocktail as we arrived, from the very start the service was extrondinary, and the salon itself was unbelievable - chandeliers everywhere and a gold room where you get your hair washed!!!     A neophyte to London's luxury salons, Taylor Taylor Commercial street blew me away. I loved everything about it. Very Cool. The salon decor has just been updated and is worth looking at through the window even if your not getting a haircut, The staff are not intimidating and are in-fact very welcoming. I felt like a celebrity, apparently they all go there, though there was no one I recognised on the day I was there. My haircut too is the best I have ever had.     Disadvantages Disadvantages Terrible cutting, colouring, and service

    The absolute worst salon experience ever. The colour and cut I received were not what I asked for and are completely unflattering. It will take months to recover and the ironic thing is that this experience was the most expensive salon visit I've had anywhere in the world (New York and Tokyo inlcuded)! The salon is completely disorganised - they keep you waiting, chat amongst themselves, and don't take the time to understand what their customers want.
