With Teamwork, You Cannot Lose!
Review of Team Fortress 2 (PC) by
hackersupr
Advantages: Encourages teamwork, Unique classes, Excellent Graphics.
Disadvantages: Few maps/modes.
Team Fortress 2 is the highly anticipated multiplayer shooter than has been in development since 1998. So was it worth the wait?
Team Fortress 2 is the multiplayer component of Valves Orange Box, as its name suggests it's a team based shooter but it doesn't involve any fort building! (Slightly off topic but for an awesome fort building game check out SourceForts). Once you load up the game you are greeted with the main menu, from here you can ...

TF2: A breath of fresh air
Review of Team Fortress 2 (PC) by
Formaldehyde
Advantages: Replayability, just plain fun, active community, excellent style, constantly updated
Disadvantages: Not everyone's cup of tea, relies on connection speed, no offline gameplay
...enough not to get annoyed.
In Team Fortress 2, there is no storytelling to be had. This should bother me, but I'll tell you why it does not-- the maps, though small at times, are so detailed and perfectly designed that it's easy to forget they're not part of a bigger world. Periodic propaganda posters, wonderfully decorated interiors and exteriors, and every environment is absolutely unique.
On top of that, the playable classes themselves ...

TF2 a new classic
Review of Team Fortress 2 (PC) by
l33t-krew
Advantages: Ultra intense gameplay, good fun, good community, nice graphics
Disadvantages: Not to everyones taste
Team Fortress 2. My new addiction. Was the first to start playing the beta. Oh my how much fun :D
Its completly revamped for a slightly cartoonish feel.
The gameplay is nothing like :)
The spy can dress up as a enemy and take out that dominating sniper turn invisible. (my current favorite)
The heavy gunner can spin his barrells are he walks to avoid having to warm up, his capabilites being able to spray enough lead to make even Iraq take ...

A solid multiplayer game, a break from the norm
Review of Team Fortress 2 (PC) by
Sparx22
Advantages: Fun, quick, witty
Disadvantages: Little variety in maps and gameplay modes
This game came in my 'Orange Box' and at first, I wasn't too keen on the game. But soon after exhausting all the other available resources in the box, I turned to what I found to be an amazing class-based multiplayer game. I have yet to be tired of it.
First Impressions
The controls are standard and intuitive, and communication using the keyboard is easy. The developers decided to abandon the gritty multiplayer visuals so common in games ...

Team Fortress 2 - the most original game for a long time!
Review of Team Fortress 2 (PC) by
TudsW
Advantages: Truly original and completely addictive, great community for all players
Disadvantages: No use if you are unable to play online
...opportunities open to you in Team Fortress 2, the Scout is a nimble baseball fan armed with a scattergun and a baseball bat who can run circles around slower enemies until... He runs into range of an engineer's sentry gun built nicely into a corner with its turtle-like maker crouching behind it with glee and replenishing its ammo until... The true master of disguise sneaks up from behind invisible and silently uncloaks behind the engineers' unsuspecting ...

Team fortress 2 AKA Reason to buy the orange box
Review of Team Fortress 2 (PC) by
zantatu
Advantages: Fun, quick to learn, lots of variety
Disadvantages: internet required
...i thought wow. A cartoon team fortress this will ruin the game. But as i watched more and more and more previews, i thought this game is gonna be so good. I was correct. There are thousands of dedicated servers for team fortress 2. This game has good graphics, good sound, great game play, longevity, and a great value for money. Once again great investment.
1. Now lets start with game play. There is one noticeably BIG downside to this game. People ...

TF2 Best fun Shooter
Review of Team Fortress 2 (PC) by
Pandora89
Advantages: FUN, EASY TO PLAY
Disadvantages: Need quite a decent system for high specs.
...situations. This allows for great team play and a constantly evolving game. New tactics and strategies can be utilised all the time.
The graphics are pleasing to look at and have a fun feel, with customizable options for those with lower end hardware, however still quite a cpu heavy game.
One of the best things about this game is the support from valve, which includes multiple class updates which provide new, alternative weapons. Allowing ...

Team Fortress 2 is the Greatest FPS Ever, Man
Review of Team Fortress 2 (PC) by
Dysaniak
Advantages: Pretty, Balanced
Disadvantages: None!
I once played this game for 9 hourse straight - and I am a CASUAL gamer, ok? Its many character class choices are supremely balanced, and the entire game is so wonderful that you more often die laughing than cursing. The Scout is very fun to run around as, whipping your little bat at the backs of your enemies' heads. The Sniper is satisfying to play - headshots make you feel warm and fuzzy. The heavy is just fun, mowing down the bad guys with a huge, ...

...action, you'll find it in Team Fortress 2: Brotherhood of Arms. With TF 2, you'll go into battle as part of a squad of fellow warriors all bent on the same goal -- whether it's storming a beach, demolishing a bridge or escorting a VIP to safety. And you'll do it knowing your teammates are watching your back as carefully as you're watching theirs.
Begin by assuming one of twelve roles, each with unique strengths and weaknesses. If you're looking ...

Not Up To My Standards
Review of Team Fortress 2 (PC) by
bilbobaginz
Advantages: Great Graphical Detail ... Cartoony
Disadvantages: can become repetative at times
Team Fortress 2 came to our attention not too long ago. It was subject to a wave of high anticipation during the build-up to its release, and in my mind that expectation for a great game hasn't been met.
TF2 was bought for me a few months ago by a friend who wanted me to get into the game along-side his new-found addiction. And I know plenty of people who love it and are also completely addicted. However, for me TF2 remains a game to be missed. ...

Team Fortress 2 (updated)
Review of Team Fortress 2 (PC) by
AgeUK
Advantages: good team play, fun graphics, constantly updated and improved
Disadvantages: hard!
Since Team Fortress 2 has been updated alot lately, i only think its fair i update my review.
TF2 is a first person shooter, online multiplayer fiasco. Its like Battlefield 2 took some drugs with Walt Disney and then got in a washing machine and set its self to rinse.
The graphics, as you can see, are very cartoony, as was the case with TF classic (so im lead to believe). But dont let that put you off. They are awfully good graphics and its quite ...

Review of Team Fortress 2 (PC) by
rozenxmaiden
Advantages: Fun, original, awesome
Disadvantages: addictive
...is a great sense of team spirit. This is a great game for people who know friends with the game as you can play online with them!
Graphics: not amazingly detailed, but very fun (I would describe it as a stylistic cartoon).
Sound: nothing special, but you are able to use teamspeak to talk to members on your team and devise strategies.
Longevity: you will be addicted, and it is hard to get bored of! My university computer games society has TF2 sundays ...

Team Fortress 2 Review
Review of Team Fortress 2 (PC) by
Marley123456
Advantages: Enjoyment
Disadvantages: Complexity
...hard to get bored from Team Fortress 2. The Gameplay of this game is really different and extra-ordinary. With 9 different playable classes, all with their own advantages and disadvantages. It is quite difficult to get to grips with the Complexity of the game, but when you do get to grips with it, it really is worth the money. This game is half the price of other games that have been released by high-brand names, which makes it amazing for value. ...

GEDDIM! GEDDIM! GEDDIM!!!! the TF2 rollercoaster
Review of Team Fortress 2 (PC) by
NMLA
Advantages: Good fun, Fast paced action, good class selection
Disadvantages: need a good internet connection and a reasonably fast pc or it becomes near unplayable
The TF2 Game has been A good spare time destroyer for a while now as part of the orange box set and is what most would consider a very enjoyable game despite its age, The game itself has a very good graphical quality to it and a fantastic feel that draws you in, combined with the sound it provides a wonderful, frantic adreniline burst that keeps you coming back. (Well if beating people with a spanner is your kinda thing)
The cartoony feel and the ...

TF2 - the multi-player isn't always a bad thing
Review of Team Fortress 2 (PC) by
Arniuxaz
Advantages: The graphics, the non-realness, ongoing updates, simple to play with easy multiplayer access.
Disadvantages: I can't REALLY find any.
Let's start from the graphics. It's an animation style game, and that is what makes it attracting. Instead of the realness of CoD and Crysis, here you get some fun classes, maps, and... well... FUN.
Now about the sounds: when you turn on TF2 you hear some music until you try to connect to a server. That is called relaxation. If you can't find a server, listen to some music. The in-game sounds are nice. It sounds like if it were a lot different - people ...
